Thinking it over, perhaps the battle (from what we can see in the preview) is slow to reflect how Farfetch’d is in battle compared to Gallade when it comes to sword fighting. This would explain the sluggish movements, as of its lack of technique, and coinciding with that, once Farfetch’d...
It’s not. If it’s integrated properly, that is. In the Wilkstrom episode, Goh was there developing by himself, and that’s fine, because he was helping the plot move forwards by helping Ash at the same time.
However, when he goes alone, it doesn’t help the plot forwards, and takes away from the...
Ash Episodes:
7) Technically was both Ash and Goh’s episode, showing Goh the battling scene. Can’t blame them for that one, cause it establishes what Goh’s about
10) Took a while to catch Dewgong
13) Goh didn’t do anything
18) Asides from going away for a few captures, he doesn’t steal away from...
From the image, besides the leek looking sharper, the way “Farfetch’d” is holding it with one hand, which it’s never done before, is definitely Sirfetch’d’s technique. Added on that, the rigorous shape towards the right of the body looks like the shield.
How have they managed to give away...
Has she? She’s been in two episodes, and besides being a sweet loving, resilient warrior, there’s not much we know about her, aside from her desire to grow strong. Of course I know she’s still to appear, but there’s not much to work with based off her initial appearances.
Hope they can at least establish Rinto as an actual character in this episode, and I don’t really care if it’s before, during, or after the battle.
It would be nice to know where he’s from (Kanto’s the obvious choice, but he could just be travelling there), why Gallade is his partner, what’s are...
I was talking about how Dragonite in general was unexpected in terms of capture upon its evolution, I wasn’t doubting its strength.
Lucario may have had intense training, but I feel as though it would have benefited from being Riolu for longer.
Whilst I have detested Goh’s antics in the series towards Ash related episodes (most notably when he cut the Bea rematch time trying to catch a Chinchou), this is getting a little out of hand in terms of the reactions. Goh at least has a reason to be there, and like all good developments, he’s...
Lucario and Cinderace didn’t deserve their evolution at all, and Dragonite was...really unexpected.
Sirfetch’d is probable here, and I would like to see it evolve, but still lose the fight. I don’t want a repeat of Lucario, where the focus on it is muttered fron this point on.

Whilst there’s the delight of Rinto returning, I seriously hope they don’t butcher this and make Ash win already against him, especially through an evolution.
The level of difference in their level of skill, even if Farfetch’d was tired, was staggering. Sure, Sirfetch’d will be more...
Hope Rinto returns for this episode. Whilst Bea has been established twice, we haven’t seen her in a long time, and feels as though their rivalry has stagnated - it’ll feel flat when we next see her. We need a rival that’s actually continuously reoccurring in this series for Ash, which is what...
I can see this going one of two ways - Wilkstrom contacts Ash, somehow, don’t ask how, and notifies him that he wants to challenge him since he sees potential in Farfetch’d. That, or Wilkstrom’s challenge got the attention of Rinto, and he beat the challenge as well, and requested for Ash to...
