Raichu, Aerodactyl, Scizor, Absol, Flygon and Golurk stand out as Pokemon that got nice debuts and are still waiting for it to pay off. Scizor will get a Bandai toy early next year. :-)

He doesn't have an Espeon or Flareon, but he did catch Oddish, Cubone, Misdreavus, Suicune, Absol and Lilligant. And his kawaii Raichu has made me like the species more.

Tell that to the Bulbasaur and Cyndaquil duos.

Off the top of my head, the only one of my favorites he's caught is Oddish. That is not to say I don't appreciate the likes of Misdreavus, Heracross, Chinchou, Farfetch'd, Raichu and some more. Flygon is cool, but overrated.
