Don't you feel the TRio are growing stale? This show is cyclical and has no end in sight, and any character that stays that much on it becomes stale. Look at Ash. Heck, look at DP Brock.

I am glad Dawn isn't a constant of a never-ending show, because she would have grown stale and lost her character. I am a big Brock fan and I was happy he left after DP because of staleness.

It seems they became complacent after the success that was DP. This is a show that has no problem regressing its main protagonist.
