Ah so it isn't only night for Lillie then, good to know!
It being day/night in the demo depends on when you start the demo. It changes every minute, e.g. if you start the demo at 20:09 it's day and if you start it at 20:10 it's night (or the other way around).
Hau seems to only appear on Sunday, he even mentions the day being Sunday. And it seems Lillie only appears on Fridays (lot of people reported here seeing her last friday and she also appears for those that set the date to Nov. 18th, also a Friday). So for both of those, I think you can stop...
That is actually a really good thing to know for everyone: changing your clock for DST does mess with your ingame events which are based on time/day. These events will not be available for 24 hours, and it could very well be the case for the events in the demo too.
I Might just wait with...
Just tried pressing up+A and it doesn't work. Still only changes to night on uneven minutes (eg 11:33) and day on even minutes (eg 11:34) (or the other way around, differs per person).
I put your other secrets under spoilers, since those haven't been officially revealed or hinted at yet.
Nope, as ye can see in the OP there's a number of NPC's talkin' about events happenin' in a certain amount of days. So there's probably new things to do if you start up the demo and talk to those NPC's on those days.
I played it on the N3DS XL and didn't notice any stuttering. Then again, I don't really have an eye for those anyway :P
Also, someone on a Japanese 3DS got the item from the guy next to the Pokémon Center who says to come back 1 day later and:
Oooh fun new demo fact: it's night or day in the demo depending on the time you start it up.
It changes per minute, even minutes give you day/night and uneven minutes gives you the opposite. Example, when I started it up at 15:06 it was day and when I started it up again at 15:07 it was night...
What I liked about the demo:
This demo is long, it took me two hours straight to finish the thing whoa.
This game is absolutely stunning  The overworld has never looked so real, like the buildings have so many details in them, just look at the Tourist Bureau, damn.
I can never state...
If you're talking about the 15 minute video of the demo, that wasn't all of it. The player is still in the middle of a quest and in the pictures in the OP it can be seen that Pikachu can use a Z-move, which the player in the video couldn't yet.
Since ye're gettin' an Ash-Greninja and a Pikachu, I wouldn't be surprised if the player is named Ash in the demo :p Still debating if that's better or worse than Orlando...
Anyway, I really hope we can catch wild Pokés and battle with them, I just want to own a Pikipek already  I doubt it...
