Well, the TRio can be sympathetic at times and there are people who love them. That pest acts like a Little Devil and gets away with all the ruckus it causes. Being a Karma Houdini, or to get others blamed for those misdeeds, is the worst thing about it.

I don't know what the TRio has to do with that gremlin being so unsympathetic. I will dare to say that they, at least, got rid of that pest. It is absolutely impossible to root for that monkey, nor find it either cute or likeable.

Gou is a reflection of the lazy staff that created him, they also throw flowers at themselves sometimes, that's why he gets pampered and stuff despite not deserving anything. That monkey's debut is still a heavily biased excuse of a plot, that failed in giving us any reason why the gremlin...

I think that that monkey's reason to be is create conflicts to solve. Though; fixing a problem you caused, directly or by neglect, is morally questionable.... That is why I think that Gou had so much presence in the Ghost Train episode. His gremlin caused the main problem and he actively took...

So Gou is like Lizardon now.... The anime is not allowed to make any of them look bad, no matter if that hurts other characters in the long run, and they have to be shoved down our throats with unnecessary overexposure. I do wish that they would tone down that monkey's antics, or better...

I would even say that that monkey is the worst starter depicted in the anime. Never liked the line in the games, now I totally hate it for this one.. The only case of an anime making me dislike a game character even more.
