The history of anime in a lot of other countries is unique to say the least. Crazy how 4kids clawed their way into other countries too via their versions of their dubs.

4kids laid the ground work for how the anime dub is worked on till this day. They are at fault for that.

No, its in relation to the dub channel hopping so much. Syndication to kidswb to CN to Disney XD to Netflix etc.

I'm talking about the other pokemon animes that aren't the main series.

If anything I think the decent translations and keeping some of the original make 4kids look worse by then making each dub season of lesser quality and a weird inverse of their movie dubs. It's like they were saying "oh we could do a great dub, but nah haha."

He's primarily a musician. He loves that more than VA. VA is just a very small thing for him now.
