As someone who's already a fan of Ed Goldfarb and Sarah Natochenny (yeah, I said it), they've really outdone themselves with this one. It may not be full nostalgia trip the Japanese version was (and even then a lot of liberties were taken), but it looks amazing in its own right.
I also noticed...
So judging by the fact that the trailers for the non-English dubs retain the original music, is it possible that everyone is dubbing directly from Japanese this time around? The fact that Verity and Sorrel's names are so vastly different in each language is also evidence towards that conclusion...
Whoa, that trailer gave me chills. It looks like they're using Pokémon Theme again? If they're going to replace the music, I hope they remix more 4Kids tracks in there to give the soundtrack a similar nostalgic feeling.
Unfortunately. I guess we're starting to feel the effects of Eric Medalle's passing.
I don't know why they didn't just use the English logo Japan made though.
Usually I don't mind the music being replaced, but this movie would suffer an unfortunate loss due to all those Kanto nostalgia tracks. Ah, well. I appreciate Goldfarb's music for what it is, and I'm sure this will be no exception.
