( @Zorchic - how about I make a google doc you guys can edit? That way we can keep track of items/pokemon. Also I'm planning on making Threadmarks for important plot events so you can return to them later. )
Upon walking out of the building the trainers could feel the warm spring wind making the pink petals dance around them. It was a very warm day. One could say - a perfect day to start a trainer journey.
Mauville was in some ways a very unusual city. One could recognize that at a glance. The whole area was more like a giant building completely made out of glass housing more buildings inside of it. A lot of tourists made it their destination for this very reason.
After stepping onto the road they could see a long line of shops and houses. The colorful stands were sure to bring a lot of curious tourists who stood around talking in different laguages about their planned purchase.
The closest shop seemed to have a whole rack dedicated to postcards and trinkets announcing slogans like "I LOVE HOENN" and "10/10 Just enough water". The man standing next to the display with a handful of leaflets looked at the group with a smile and walked over.
"First time in Mauville?" Before any of them could respond the man shoved a piece of paper in Kane's hand. "Enjoy your stay!"
When they looked at the paper they realized it was an advertisement for the newely opened "Mauville Food Court". A place where you had to win a fight to get a meal. There was a small map of Mauville printed on the back showing all of Mauville's interesting areas with the Food Court highlighted in red. If nothing else that might come in handy.
