The IVs aren't brilliant, my mate wasn't one for competitive battling ... but they are both from VGCs and untouched:

Lv. 45 Adamant Metagross - OT Ray - Earthquake/Zen Headbutt/Protect/Meteor Mash - 14/26/7/23/14/10
Lv. 5 Adamant Larvitar - OT VGC12 - Bite/Leer/Sandstorm/Superpower - 25/21/9/4/25/24 (I have yet to go the Battle Institute to narrow the spread on Larvitar's IVs)

I think you've got the wrong person there, because I certainly don't have a shiny Charmander!

Just been to the Battle Institute, Larvitar's IVs are (closer to) 30/22/12/6/20/22. Still some spread on those, but only to +/-1
