I'm being overly paranoid about whether or not this is allowed and posted in the proper place. If that paranoia is justified in any way, my apologies.

Just about a month ago I created a community called Pokémon Creations on Deviant Art. It's a club focused on supporting and encouraging original creations within the Pokémon fandom (this is expanded on further in the club purpose), as well as Pokémon fanworks in general.

I've been looking around for members, but so far our numbers are somewhat pitiful. Not long ago it occured to me that advertising the club in some forums would be a good idea. After all, some of you are bound to have Deviant Art accounts, right?

Some features worth noting would be Showcasing, where one of your works can be uploaded to the club gallery every month (as well as additional showcases if you have reasons for them); the Grand Archive, which is a collection of Pokémon fanwork on Deviant Art which is being expanded upon all the time; and the monthly Art Contest, with the current theme of making a club ID and/or Avatar (though future ones promise to be much more interesting). On March 20th, a seasonal fanfiction contest will begin as well. We are always open to suggestions for other club features, particularly if you are interested in helping run them.

I would like to see this club grow into a large and highly active Pokémon fanwork community. I'm already considering ways to expand beyond Deviant Art if the club becomes popular enough.

So, is anyone interested? We allow members of any artistic skill, even if that is no skill, so long as the interest in art and fan creations is there.
