After almost two months of waiting, the official @PokeMikuVOLTAGE account on X (formerly Twitter) has announced that the first additional song of Project VOLTAGE, After Epochs (アフターエポックス) by sasakure.UK, will be making its premiere next week, Friday May 10th, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST). As with past songs, the music video is expected to be posted on the artist's own official YouTube channel.

The folks over at the independent video game record label GameChops are today releasing Pallet Town, the latest single from the Super Lofi 64 duo of Nate and Canaan Evans. Covering Junichi Masuda's iconic music from the original Pokémon games on the Game Boy, this track features the Evans brother's signature piano lines together with soothing lo-fi beats. The song is available for streaming and download now on YouTube, and on a variety of other platforms.

The special distribution of Pawmot which was announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet late last week has now commenced. This Pawmot, which is based on Nemona's Pawmot as seen in the music video of the YOASOBI song Biri-Biri, is being released to celebrate the song's physical CD & LP release in Japan. This distribution will remain available to redeem until February 28th next year.

Shortly after the release earlier of Glorious Day by Eve, the final originally scheduled song for Project VOLTAGE, the official @PokeMikuVOLTAGE account on X (formerly Twitter) has announced that the project will be continuing, confirming that additional songs will be produced for the project. Vocaloid producer sasakure.UK was also announced as the first Vocaloid producer for this continuation.

A special distribution of Pawmot has been announced for Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. This Pawmot, which is based on Nemona's Pawmot as seen in the music video of the YOASOBI song Biri-Biri, is being released to celebrate the song's physical CD & LP release in Japan. The Mystery Gift code for this Pokémon will be released on the Japanese official Pokémon Website around Midday (JST) / 3:00am (UTC) on March 13th, with this distribution remaining available to redeem until February 28th next year.

Project VOLTAGE, the special art and music collaboration project between Pokémon and the popular Volcaloid character Hatsune Miku, will be releasing its final song this Weekend, March 9th, at 6:30pm (JST) / 9:30am (UTC) / 1:30am (PST). The Pokémon Game Sound Library, which launched on Pokémon Day 2023, is receiving a special update for its first anniversary, with the addition of music from Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire, and Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen. The Pokémon Game Sound Library allows fans to download music and musical scores from the Pokémon video game series at zero cost, for non-commercial personal use only.

The name of the song comes from the sound a person reacting when startled (ひゅ), and onomatopoeia for a rumbling or booming sound (どろどろ). The Pokémon Company has announced that Super Music Collections for Pokémon Sword and Shield + Expansion Pass, Pokémon Legends: Arceus, and Pokémon Sword and Shield + The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero will each be released in Japan on Pokémon Day on February 27th, 2024. Pre-orders are now open on the Pokémon Center ONLINE website in Japan, while stocks last, and are limited to a maximum of 2 items per person.
