Are there any good grinding spots (post-game, if that matters) for around Level 50 Pokemon? I'd imagine Victory Road, but I absolutely hate grinding on wild encounters.
I check trash cans like there is no tomorrow. Every. Single. Time. Most of the time it turns up nothing, but in Black and White it scored me a Leftovers, of all things, so it is totally worth it.
Heck, I know where to find hidden items without a Dowsing Machine by now. You just pick up where...
Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance stands out. I have a Wii, but not a Gamecube controller, and Path of Radiance is EXPENSIVE; it's a miracle I got Radiant Dawn for a fair price.
I also really, really want to play Xenoblade Chronicles, and E.T. because, well, it's E.T.
I've said it a million times by now, so I honestly don't want to post another 10 paragraph essay, but its near impossible not to when discussing Pokemon X and Y, or as I like to call them, X and WHYYYYYYY. Apart from the fantastic new Pokemon and the stellar graphics, they're awful, especially...
Sorry I haven't posted in a while; I've been putting this off too long. I honestly don't feel too much like putting on extra reasoning for my ratings, so here you go:
35. 7/10
83. 8/10
81. 5/10
28. 8/10
59. 10/10
Black and White, as many have said, is obviously the best story. Black 2 and White 2 is also great. While it still is a simple plot, it was really nice, and I hope Pokemon goes out of its comfort zone more for Generation 7, although X and Y's garbage story worries me.
While I believe supports should be emphasized, the quality of them really needs to step up. There are too few serious ones, and Awakening in particular had TERRIBLE comedy in its supports; most of the time, it wasn't funny. Take, for example, Stahl and Miriel's supports, or Robin and Cherche...
As mentioned before, The Princess Bride and Tolkien's works in general are all fantastic. However, I feel kind of sad that no one has mentioned The Blood of Olympus. I'm not too sure if they count, but Kung Fu Ferret mentioned the Kane Chronicles, so why not.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians, as...
This to me is incredibly easy: V > VI > IV > III > II > I.
Generation 5 was the most unique out of all the generations and are easily the most memorable. Generation 6, for what little it had excelled in. Generation 4 was solid, I can't think of any really bad designs there. Generation 3 was...
I am showing her Pokemon with maxed out friendship; it doesn't change anything. And yes, I'm absolutely certain they have max friendship thanks to the Happiness rater in Goldenrod.
Really? I'm not even in an area where one would expect country to be popular and almost everyone seems to love it EVERYWHERE I go. Maybe I just go to the wrong places.
Also, I guess there is some satisfaction in playing sports yourself, but I play less for the feeling of victory than just the...
Based purely on a battle-based point of view, the winner is Regigigas, unless your opponent is stupid enough to give it some Gastro Acid.
From a design point-of-view, definitely Moltres. It looks like a chicken on fire, which is admittedly hilarious, but not all that good of a design. Everytime...
71. Fantasy Life - Pounding Life Guild: 8/10 (Wow, I like this. It's really catchy and energetic, and would be perfect music for a hero's journey.)
21. Dark Cloud - The Djinni Dran: 5/10 (I really liked the beginning, I really did. It sounded like it was leading up to something dramatic. Then...
Re: If you could re-introduce two things that were from previous games, what are they
Only two? Game Freak is very bad about taking stuff out that I like, so this is quite the brutal decision. If I had to, though...
1. Probably the PWT. I like the callbacks to previous regions, and I...
