I'm more of a speed demon myself, Pokemon that are fast, can deliver powerful attacks that knockout opponents in one hit or at least knock them far into the red until they almost faint, but I also make sure that they have enough HPs or defenses to take a hit or two.
I'm not opposed to have some tanks in the party to last in battle and induce status conditions or something to that nature
Yeah, I would love to see Ursaring and Drapion in a Tag Battle together they were 2 of Paul's most "unbeatable" Pokemon because of how they could easily take out 3 of Ash's Pokemon in both full battles, not to mention Drapion could induce Poison to cause Guts to be activated!!
Because you said it was part of your "spartans", true a good strategy.
Ash; Pikachu (only if it acts and battles at the high lv it should be), Sceptile, Charizard, Snorlax, Swellow, Infernape (I'd love to face its Blaze power) and or in place of Infernape, Glalie
I know the feeling, and in the game I hate battling Ferrothorn unless I got a fire move on my attack set because those things are hard to put down if you dont!
Yeah, a battle with Paul would be interesting, but depending on Ash's attitude he would use off the wall strategies that might actually do some damage to my team that I would have never seen coming.
Me I'd go with some of my White Pokemon just for the sake of doing something new don't get me wrong there are numerous Pokemon from my other games that'd I'd use but for the sake of spicing things up I'd use;
Samurott, Hydregion, Haxorus, Golurk, Darmanitan and Volcarno (the Fire Moth)
For either Ash or Paul I'd want them to use their top 6 Pokemon.
Oh man that would be awesome! First off for Ash it would depend on what series of Ash I would be talking with if it were BW I'd tell me to grow up but from AG or DP I'd give him props for his hard work, but tell him to use his old Pokemon and rotate instead of starting over every region
Paul...speechless I'd actually want to be his friend, rival or at least someone that had a connection with me through mutual respect.
