I am going to Anthrocon in Pittsburgh, in June and the head of panels said that if I want to show video clips longer than 59 seconds I have to get permission from the copyright holders. I tried contacting TPCi on the Pokemon website but so far no response...No attempt at all to answer me. My...
A guy named Tommy Wimmer uploaded the 1st Japanese Pokemon anime ending song "Hyakugojyuuichi" to iTunes and is claiming it as his own. Copyright for this song comes up on YouTube as:
"The Donut Song" by Tommy Wimmer
I have reported the iTunes listing to Nintendo but so far Nintendo has done...
So far he has only had two figures within the full 15 years that Naruto has been running. (Even though the Anime is still going, and the manga is the one that ended.) He is a major side character and you would think that he would get some good merchandise like those nice detailed art figures...
There are two ways it could happen. Either Serena trades Yancham to Satoshi and it ends up evolving into Goronda due to Satoshi's Keromatsu having evolved into Gekogashira and then Gekkouga at that point and of course it is part dark type. Then there is the possibility that Yancham just evolves...
Well..I'm sure many of you know how 4kids kept this beautiful song in their dub of "The wishing star of the seven nights Jirachi" but there was one problem. They added English vocals that do not match up with with the translation of the Japanese lyrics. I really did expect 4kids to do something...
Overseas Fletchling is known as the Japanese Robin Pokemon because that is the bird it was based on. In the English games it is simply known as the "Tiny Robin" Pokemon. Now I have to beg this question, why did they feel that they had to do this? Why take out the word Japanese for the English...
I'm sure some of you know the incident with Pokemon Palace Network. Pokemon USA had the government raid the site owner's home and take his computer, GBA, and other things just because he was posting Japanese game information that had already been officially revealed. What the heck?! He wasn't...
Now when I heard that Pokemon The Origin was coming to Blu-ray (In Japanese only) I decided to go ahead and buy it because I could watch it on my PS3 without the burden of region blocking. I love how Japan and America have the same Blu-ray coding. Anyway on to the point of this topic. When I saw...
I know that there are so many pointless renames of either Pokemon or human characters, too many to name but this one really stumps me, no scratch that. There are two that I just don't get.
1. Eureka was renamed Bonnie.
2. Bel was renamed Bianca.
Bel's name could have simply been edited to...
Several years ago, I remember going to buy Pokemon Silver and I swear I saw Pokemon Red and Blue with a newer box design. They had the pictures of Blastoise and Charizard that were used to make the Japanese boxes. I could be wrong but I still swear I saw them. Anyone know if these were actually out?
Any chance of the US getting that one? We already have the Pikachu one. (finally..) I wouldn't be surprised if we don't get it, but it would be nice to get one.
I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but someone made this a few years ago for Nico Nico Douga. I personally think it is outstanding.

What would it take to convince PUSA to consider negotiations with TV Tokyo for a Pokemon simulcast? (Are they the ones who have the ultimate say?) It would be wonderful if that could happen. It's just a thought that always seems to pop into my head. Not to mention it would help with piracy...
"Fluffy use speed star!"
As you all may know (or not), the Japanese name for the move Swift is Speed Star. I was very surprised when 4kids dubbed this into the episode. I'm wondering what made them decide to put this in.
