Pikachu's patience has been pushed to the limit by Satoshi's fixation on training Riolu, and it storms out of the Sakuragi Laboratories, heading for Masara Town?! It's joined by Barrierd, who chased after it in an attempt at holding it back... what will happen to this duo?!

Summary:
After winning an official Pokémon World Championships battle, the Emanation Pokémon Riolu is feeling like a million bucks. Satoshi is completely fixated on training it, which Pikachu looks somewhat discontented with. But when Satoshi continues paying absolutely no attention to it, Pikachu's patience gets pushed to its limits, and it ends up storming out of the Sakuragi Laboratories! Barrierd chases after it in an attempt at holding it back, but Pikachu is set in its way. And the road this duo heads down lead them to... Masara Town?!

Return to Pallet Town, huh? I wonder what Pikachu intends to do there, just stay at Ash's house? Sadly it doesn't seem like we will be seeing Oak's lab, but a Delia cameo is quite welcome. Hopefully Mimey decides to stay at home from now on.

Actually Pallet Town is pretty far away from Vermillion, I wonder if Ash follows them all the way there. Maybe they will reference the Diglett Tunnel.

Wait .... Are my eyes deceiving me? 2 episodes back-to-back for Koharu. Maybe Koharu helps Ash search for Pikachu.

I wonder if Beedrill is what Riolu beats in the PWC or if a wild one is going to menace Pikachu and Mimey?

Also possible that Delia only appears via a Pikachu fantasy. Honestly, would you even put it past the writers to do that?
