A Fateful Encounter - Chapter 1


Below Seafoam islands, the Ice is causing a chilling and lonely arua over the ground and the waters are freezing. Dwelling deep within is the mysticle and legendary Articuno. The deepest floor is where she prefers to stay since no one can come near the tricky ice paths. Her feathers are ruffled as she curles up and lays down while her long tail shone against the sparkling ice. The different colors in the rays mimicing a sparkling rainbow tent against her underbelly.
Suddenly she hears a startling roar somehow echoing strongly through the twisting tunnel caves.

Meanwhile Lugia, Guardian of the Sea, is swimming deep under the ocean near Whirlpool Island heading streight for Seafoam Islands. Lugia is master over the three legendary birds, including Articuno. Stopping all their quirrels over the centuries he still stays far away from other Pokemon for their own sake.
Swimming towards the surface he has a serious and calm look in his eyes. Though every single day like the next. As he uses his big strong arm-like wings to raise himself to the top of the sea tiny bubbles spiral out from under his hands and raises to the top. His bright blue back plates slightly pressed down in to his back he speeds foreward and takes a deep breath from the salty air.

He then hears repeated roars and shrieks rippling through the water like defaning vibrations. His eyes widen as his puplis shrink. Concerned, he rears up and raises his wings and clasps together his fingers to take off in flight.

Fire and Ice - Chapter 2

Articuno waited silently in fear of the loud noises coming through the cave wall, Sounds so loud it rumbled the ground. Suddenly she saw a bright light burning in the distance, as it was Moltres. Along with that were five other Pokemon along with their trainer, a man wearing black, not quite visible from so far away. All six fire Pokemon were burning the ice as they went by.
"Moltres, Flamethrower!" The man ordered. Moltres flew quickly toward Articuno while she was caught unexpected. The shot of flames hit Articuno burning her wing as she tried to flutter off. Moltres had a look of distain and regret as the Pokemon was forced to attack. For a moment Articuno used Roost to heal her wound. She then flew as fast as she could to get out of the cave, turning past every icy wall to dodge the fire Pokemon attacks. She reached a dead end where a clear path had been frozen over, to thick to brake. Observing the exit, she assumed that the path might have been covered by a Pokemon from the other side.

The team of fire Pokemon were catching up, there was nowhere to go. thinking fast she then used Hail to coat the place in thick slippery ice, while at the same time injuring the attackers with every step they took towards her. Still, she was ouut numbered and especially was not able to go against Moltres. Articuno was scared and let out a huge cry. Moltres repeated the move leaving Articuno fetaly wounded.
The ice covered cave enterence was then crashed open while Articuno heard a defaning roar. She covered herself as a huge blast of water hit Moltres. Articuno then uncovered her eyes to see Lugia. She saw the opening and took off as fast as she could and flew over the island while the sun was shining as bright as day. She landed on a rocky cliff to rest while using Roost to heal her tail that was caught in the fire, though she was still left with a burn.

Meanwhile in the cave Lugia was trying his best to ward off the team of six. Fire and water blasting back and forth. Moltres got a direct hit with another Flamethrower, but Lugia used Hydropump which finally left Moltres weak and almost fainted. Releaved for Moltres, the two Pokemon Houndoom and Blaziken charged towards Lugia. The man obviously wasn't expecting a water Pokemon to come along, especially since his last tactic was to use every one of his water Pokemon to weaken Moltres to her breaking point.
With this Lugia repeatedly used hydropump to take them out one by one until the man was left with nothing but the half dead Moltres. "Moltres, get up and attack!" Moltres tried her best to raise her wings but her legs were limp for she was too wounded to go on. The pittiful look in Moltres' eyes quicly went to a evil minacing, stair after a small light on a collar strapped to the Pokemons neck turned red. Lugia looked closer to see a red 'R' on the metal choaker.
