On the subject of music, I don't know why Pokemon USA would have to pay for the Japanese music, AltoMan. But anyway, that's what WPM said in one of his posts one time.
Apparently, he happened to over hear one of the PUSA reps talking about that, having to pay for the music and everything. He also said that, from the way that person spoke, it seems like they have to pay for everything when it comes to Pokemon in the U.S. So it isn't just the music, I guess......
Personally, I don't think money had anything to do with the VA swith. It was something else, I just know it was. Most likely, it was something that they purposely kept secret from the fans (to avoid publicity, any kind of negative views, or something).
I mean, it's obvious to me that Pokemon USA must have TONS of money. Even before they obtained the anime license, they still had the Pokemon games, the TCG, and all the rights to the merchandise as well. That's a lot of stuff, which probably gave them thousands of dollars every year.
So with all the money they've been generating from Pokemon's properties (other than the anime), how could they not have had enough money to afford getting the original VAs to do Mastermind/season 9? It just makes no sense to me, no matter how many times I think about it.
