Pokémon Evolution/Capture/Release Thread

Considering that Goh's goal was to catch every Pokemon there is, it does surprise me how many episodes we've had where Goh hasn't caught a single one
I suppose the series director has decided to tone it down from the extremes of the early series. Plus, most of the episodes lately have been about the Masters Eight Tournament.

There's the possibility that Journeys will just continue and Paldea will be added to the rotation.
That theory has come up on the forum loads of times, and it's not likely to happen. The WCS and Project Mew are both coming to a close.

Given that there's not much left to do with the series storywise, I don't see them just putting in Paldea into their world tour gimmick and calling it a day.

Gimmighoul is something I can definitely see Team Rocket having in Paldea. What could be a better headache for them than a Pokémon that constantly robs them? Constantly attacks Meowth for his head gem? Constantly trying to steal James' bottle caps? It writes itself, but then again, that was the same thing I thought with Cramorant (and look where that went...or rather, didn't). It's a quirky little thing that I think would fit right in with James in particular.

I’m still not over how Meowth never interacted with Alolan Persian, Galarian Meowth and Perrserker. Come on writers, you have some interesting filler right there!

Instead we get a repetitive Slowking gag, a cringey Slowking rap battle, Marshtomp stuck in the ground, and people fighting over blue Pokemon. Journeys has had some of the worst filler episodes.

While i'm also a little irked that Meowth never really properly met a Galarian Meowth or an Alolan Persian, i'm more than a little irked that James has yet to me a Galarian Weezing.
Never mind that, Galarian Weezing (along with several other Galarian mons) never even got a proper debut! (Even though I'm not crazy about regional forms, it at least deserved a proper debut appearance.)

Sorry but no thanks. I like the guy as much as the next person, but everything related to Morpeko was awful and it hurt my opinion on the species as a whole. I really hope they tone down the TR bullying next series as it gets too repetitive. Also I get a lot of anxiety of food and money being wasted so I wouldn't want to go from the former to the latter.

So with Project Mew on Faraway Island during JN133 and 134, I'm curious to see if Goh will end up catching Mew after all

Part of me was wondering if he might catch other Pokemon found on the Island as there are quite a few Fossil Pokemon but if the Poke Balls aren't working, that might prevent it
