Mafia Star Wars Mafia - Endgame: The Return of the Jedi

A long time ago in a galaxy far,
far away....

It is a period of civil war. The Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire are in a constant struggle.
Jabba the Hutt, leader of the Hutt Clan, has lured both sides of the war into a trap. He contacted both groups and told them that he would like to join their side. Jabba told them to meet in his palace on Tatooine to sign a contract. Leading them all into his palace at the same time.
Jabba is getting tired of this war and feels that, if he does not take any actions soon, this war will expand its focus to the Outer Rim. He has gathered all important players of the war here to finish it once and for all.

Spoiler: ”Rules”

1. BMG forum and War Room rules apply
2. Day phases will last 48 hours and Night phases will last 24 hours. Votes and actions will be locked as soon as the deadline for each phase passes.
2.1 If hosts do so require they can lengthen the phase, this will be announced in thread.
3. Nameclaiming is not allowed, this includes softclaiming! No quoting of screenshots of any conversation with the host. This includes exact wincon wording and posting fake data that supposedly comes from said sources.
4. If you change your username mid-game, please state your old and new ones in-thread and mention the hosts.
5. To vote, use the following format: "VOTE: <PLAYER>". To unvote, use "UNVOTE: <PLAYER>". A tie in votes will result in No Lynch.
6. Rules are subject to change. The host(s) will make sure to mention you if that happens. Your Role PM may also list exceptions to any of these rules.
7. No loophole abuse at all, please. You may ask the host(s) if a specific action you are unsure over would be considered a loophole in private and they may let it slide. However, obvious loopholes that are clearly outside the nature of the game abused without informing the host(s) beforehand may be faced with a zero-tolerance policy.
8. HYPER-MAJORITY rules are in place. This means that if, at any given time in a Day phase, at least 2/3 of the players alive are voting for the same person, the phase will end early with a lynch on that person.
Day phases may also end sooner if all the players alive are voting for a player or No Lynch.
Night phases may also end sooner if people with night actions lock their submissions in a way that leads to an inevitable outcome.
9. To prove that you have read the rules, please post your favorite Star Wars quote.
10. Outside Communication (that is, communication that occurs outside of this thread) is not permitted.
11. After dying in the game, you may post more but said posts may not contain game-relevant information.
12. If the game has no deaths for 4 consecutive phases because of continuous No Lynches in the day phases followed by factions with kills purposely idling them in the night phases, or if the game has reached a stalemate state, the game will end as a tie for the parties involved.
13. This game is considered slightly bastard.

Day 1: A New Hope

One by one they entered Jabba’s palace, these cloaked figures. Jabba wanted to keep it civilised, so he ordered them all to hide their identity. Besides, there were enough other guests who wanted to relax under Jabba’s safety, away from any danger.
When the last one arrived in Jabba’s room Jabba said something that most couldn’t understand. Then his protocol droid started talking
“The mighty Jabba welcomes you all. He would like to see an end to this war. You have two option, you either make peace or proof to me why your alliance or empire is better than the other. The mighty Jabba is certain that peace won’t work so…. Let the discussion begin!”

It is now Day 1. Day 1 one will end 47 hours and 15 minutes.

The discussion had started, the crowd eagerly awaiting for the first person to be slaughtered. Jabba got sleepy by the boring discussion, he had no interest in killing someone yet. He decided to call it a day and ordered everyone to go to a room and get some rest.

A new day, Jabba called everyone to his throne room to continue the debate. Everyone assembled, yet someone was missing. Jabba send some Gamorrean guards out to check all the rooms, someone must have overslept.
A few minutes later, the guards came back, dragging along a body. It seemed to be Lando.
Jabba said something and got translated to: “A most unfortunate event. There is no time to mourn him, drop him in the desert.”
The guests appeared to be a shocked, but this is Jabba’s palace, it’s not something unusual here.

There was this one cloaked guy, with a voice that sounded familiar from many years ago, that made quite a mess of the situation by calling out someone for being a rebel who should die. It seemed like a strange thing to say according to the other participants.
From the crowd a Dug was bursting out in laughter to this situation. He walked up and tapped the guy on the back and said:
“You screwed yourself over man, good luck.”
The tap seemed to have activated something as the guy flew straight up hitting the roof. He bursted out of his cloak, it was Boba Fett! He got knocked straight down again and fell in the Rancor pit. A gate opened revealing the big creature. Boba’s jetpack and tools got damaged and his twin blaster pistols weren’t enough to take down the beast quickly.
The Dug shrugged his shoulders.
”It could have been worse, he might have been blindly pushed into a sarlacc pit.”

You are a bounty hunter. You are a clone from Jango Fett, but, unlike the other clones, your age process isn’t increased and you were seen as Jango’s son. You are one of the best bounty hunters around, being hired by both the Empire and the Hutt Clan on important missions.

Because of this, you are the Slave Capturer. Every night you can target a player and capture them to make them a slave. They are effectively roleblocked for the duration of the enslavement.
They are aware that they're enslaved, but not about the effect of said enslavement. Strong Force users are immune to enslavement. Enslavement can be protected by a protective role. To do this, use the command ”Capture: <PLAYER>”. If the capture fails, the target will be silenced during the next phase. A silenced target cannot participate in the thread, you can still vote though.
You are also the 1x Doctor. Once during the night, you can target a player and protect them from any regular night kills during that night with the command ”Protect: <PLAYER>”.

You are aligned with the Hutt Clan. You win when every living player of the other factions are enslaved.

Boba Fett had nothing to do in this war, he just did his job. At least, that’s what one of the participants thought. He made an impressive, yet frightening sound that was similar to a Krayt Dragon. He tried to scare the Rancor, but it only scared everyone in the throne room. It was echoing a lot so most people didn’t notice where it came from and ran away.
When they calmed down and understood that it was a fake call the population in the palace went back to the room. Only to find one of the black cloaks on the floor, with one participant missing.

You were a Jedi general during the Clone Wars and mentor of Anakin Skywalker, who turned into Darth Vader. After the war ended, you managed to survive order 66 and went into hiding on Tatooine to keep an eye on Darth Vader’s son. Many years later you showed Luke Skywalker the way of the force. You also learned how to turn into a Force ghost when you die and you used this to follow Luke around and guide him when needed.

Because of this, you are a Force Ghost. When you die, you will be able to talk privately with a Force Sensitive.
You are also the Bodyguard. Every night you can target a player with the command ”Guard: <PLAYER>”. If they would be killed during that night, you will be killed instead.

You are aligned with the Rebel Alliance and you win when all opposing factions are eliminated.

One of the smaller cloaked guests got confused by the cloak. Where was the body? Did he disappear or worse, walk around naked. The logic circuits couldn't handle this strange event and a loud robotic scream came from the small cloak resulting in an explosion of metal parts.

Your most important role in the war was the delivery of the Death Star plans to the Alliance, severely crippling the Empire as a result.

Because of this, you are the Jack-of-All-Trades (JOAT). Therefore you are:
1x Commuter. Once, during the night, you are untargetable by any ability. To do this, use the command ”Fly Away”.
1x Cop. Once, during the night, you can target a player using the command ”Check: <PLAYER>” and you will get their alignment as a result.
1x Doctor. Once, during the night, you can target a player and protect him from any regular night kills during that night with the command ”Protect: <PLAYER>”.

After the death of two people, the room got pretty quiet. Some of them wanted to out their frustration on these deaths. Near the end, one of them had enough of the waiting.
”I’ve had enough of this, it’s all your fault isn’t it?! Die!”
While saying that and before anyone had enough time to react, he took one of the axes of the guards and chopped right into one of the cloaked person. The person fell to the ground with metallic shocks. Did he kill another droid? Removing the cloak revealed that it was Darth Vader. How did nobody notice the breathing noises?
During Vader’s last breath, he said: ”I tried to bring balance to the force, by taking over the Empire. I have failed you all”

You are strongly gifted in the Force and was freed from slavery as a child to become a Jedi. You were seen as the Chosen One, he who shall bring balance to the Force. You were eventually deceived and turned to the dark side to become Darth Vader. During the battle of Endor, you returned to the light side and destroyed your former Sith Master. Thus he fulfilled the prophecy and brought the balance back.

Because of this, you are 1x Bulletproof. You will survive 1 shot at you life.
Next, you are also the Chosen One. If someone successfully targets you at night, that player will die.
Finally, you are also the Usurper. Besides your Mafia win condition, in order for you to win the Godfather must die before the endgame. Both win conditions must be met for you to win. You cannot use the Mafia Night Kill on the Godfather.

Night 3 recap.

There was an atmosphere of relaxation after the death of the Sith Lord. One of the cloaked persons walked towards the one that shot Vader. He whispered something to him and then said to the group:
”I think we all need a little break after this.”
Together they walked away. The others agreed and split up to their rooms.
A few moments later a loud explosion could be heard from outside the palace. Everyone inside either heard it or felt the ground shaking. When the group arrived outside they could see a ship in pieces and on fire. It was, however, easily recognisable as the Millennium Falcon. Everyone then knew who those two figures were and accepted their death, slowly walking back inside.

With not much of a debate the crowd grew tiresome
"Just kill someone! How about that person that actually has nothing to do with this?!"
A part of the group, not knowing what to do agreed on it. There was nothing else for them to do anyway.
"Hahaha, you think I will be beaten so easily?! You don't know the power of the dark side."
Walking backwards to gain some distance, the old looking man tripped over Vader's body, still not cleaned up, and fell directly into the Rancor pit. The Rancor had been waiting for another meal for a while now and so he was standing ready to chomp the emperor out of the air.

"Oh my!" said one of the cloaked figures.
"This corpse can cause terrible accidents, allow me to take care of it."
Dragging Vader's body outside the figure disposed of it quickly, afraid to catch a shock which will cause errors in his system. Some Jawa's, however, noticed some shinyness from under the cloak and noticed that it was a droid. They quickly stunned him and enslaved him to sell to someone later, maybe an old farmer.
The others waited for him a bit and noticed that he was gone. They assumed 3PO, which was obvious in the way that he talked, was killed.

You are a protocol droid, fluid in many languages and you are often used as a translator. You are programmed as a human-cyborg relations droid. You often tell all your honest thought and don’t understand sarcasm, this can lead to some funny situations.

Because of this, you are the Oracle. Once a phase (both day and night) you can ask the hosts a yes/no question about the game. To do this use the command ”Question: ” followed by the question. We will only answer questions that can be answered before the start of the game (so up to the point when sign-ups got filled but before role assignment). For example, you can’t ask question like “Is <PLAYER> mafia?” or “Was I targeted last night?”. If you do ask an unanswerable question, you will get no result. Your question will be answered at the end of the phase.

With only a few participants remaining, they had a feeling that they all agreed that this wasn’t going to help out either side. Feeling betrayed by Jabba, they decided to play along in his game and vote him. Jabba was surprised and had nowhere to run. They decided to “enslave” the Slave Master, chaining him up and putting him in an embarrassing bikini outfit. Jabba was then slowly lowered into the Rancor pit, being punished by embarrassment before he got eaten. The crowd looked in awe at how they dared to do this to Jabba.

Yet, they all knew that there could only be one team left standing...

You are a member of the Hutt Clan’s council. You live in your palace on Tatooine are are seen as a crime lord. Your clan has a large influence on the Outer Rim and therefore many criminals enjoy living under his protection. You also like to have slaves.

Because of this, you are the Slave Master. You can use the powers of the slaves you have during the night. You do not know what power your slaves have once captured. To use each slave, use the command ”Use <ENSLAVED PLAYER> on: <PLAYER>”.

Night 5 Recap

The crowd got scared of the possibility that a mini war would break out in the palace. Like a stampede they ran outside. Most characters didn’t have much trouble with a large group of people running in fear past them. However, there was one person who couldn’t handle it because of his height. He got pushed, knocked down and overrun by the crowd. The other participants had to watch how he got ran over, not being able to get in there to help him. When the crowd was finally gone there was only a small cloak left, again without a body like seen before.

This image is broken. I don't know why. It works perfectly well in my "edit post" popup... Oh well.

You were a Jedi general during the Clone Wars. You are one of the strongest Force users, easily being able to use the Force for guidance.Your skills with a lightsaber are... interesting to say the least. After the war ended, you managed to survive order 66 and went into hiding on Dagobah. There you thought Luke the way of the Force and eventually died of old age (at 900) turning and transforming into a Force ghost.

Because of this, you are a Force Ghost. When you die, you will be able to talk privately with a Force Sensitive.
You are also the 2x Lie-Detector. Twice a game, during the night, you can quote a post (or a part of it). A host will then tell you if that player was lying or not. If the quote is subjective or the host doesn’t know the answer, your ability was unsuccessful and you will keep your shot. You can’t use both shots during the same night. Make sure to add the command ”Scan Post” in the post with the quote.

Luke had enough of this and wanted to end it once and for all. He uncloaked and revealed his green lightsaber.
”I’ve been talking to you from the start and I can sense good in you. You, Leia, somehow I know it’s you, I can sense it. That leaves one man remaining. I can sense the dark side of the force in your area.”
Luke jumped at him before anyone could react and struck him with his lightsaber. It was finally over, yet somehow Luke knew that the thread wasn’t completely gone.

You are a Grand Moff in the Imperial army. Your are ranked high in the Imperial officer hierarchy and were even shown to order Darth Vader around. You are assigned to the Death Star, claiming it as your own project. It is your biggest pride.

Because of this, you are the Grand Moff. Every night, you can target a player with the command ”Target: <PLAYER>”. 2 nights later, they will die. For example, if you target a player during N1, they will die at the end of N3. The targeted player will be aware that they're targeted by the Death Star.

You are aligned with the Galactic Empire and you win when all opposing factions are eliminated.
