Same here.Urban Fantasy. I wouldn't want to go back in time (for example, going into a high fantasy world) because they tend to have less than ideal standards of living for most people, and most people includes me. In my case, you could blame the abuse of "the future is chrome" trope in recent times kinda turned me off of that.And I mean, if your main objection to high fantasy is the low standard of living, why not trade that off for the super advanced luxuries of the future?
