The Grass Pokémon Survey!!!

Anyways, here is Dark Espeon's famous Grass Pokémon Survey that he does in every single forum. I want to know how you feel about my beloved Grass Pokémon :-D, so get a finger and start typing :-D!


1. Who is/are your favourite Grass Pokémon?

a) by looks.
b) by battling skills.
c) by contest skills (don't answer if ye're not into contests).
d) any other?

2. Who is/are your most disliked/hated Grass Pokémon? (assuming that there are any) Why?

3. Which type do you think it's the best with Grass?

4. Which ability do you consider the best in Grass types? (does not has to be a Grass ability, just one that a Grass type has, i.e. Suction Cups)

5. What is your favourite Grass-type move?

6. Would you like to start with any basic Grass Pokémon other than with the three already existing Grass starters (Bulbasaur, Chikorita, Treecko)?

Now for my answers :-D...

1. a) Meganium
b) Vileplume, Cradily.
c) Vileplume.
d) Exeggutor, Sunflora.

2. None. I like them all :-D. But if I had to pick which ones I like the least, I'd say Ludicolo and Celebi.

3. Probably water. Or rock. Grass-Poison is awesome too =D.

4. Natural Cure is the best ability in a Grass type.

5. Leech Seed is simply awesome 8).

6. Yes, I'd love to start with Oddish. Or Exeggute/Lileep.

7. YES!!! They are!!! *cheerleading costume* Grass rox my sox! :-D

1. a) hmm, probably Oddish
b) I like Venusaur, and use Nuzleaf which is pretty tough
c) never had one
d) Always had a soft-spot for Bayleaf

2. I like em all, but not too fussed on Exceggute and Exceggutor.

3. Grass and Dark is pretty cool in Nuzleaf I reckon.

4. Poison Point, or Effect Spore are ok

5. Solarbeam is nasty, and I don't mind Razor Leaf

6. Hmmm, I like to start with Fire types as they pose the biggest challenge, but starting with a Seedot would be pretty cool.

7. Not my favorite, but right up there, maybe 3rd?

2. Sunkern. (Don't really hate it, just think its pretty weak.)

3. Grass/Water, Grass/Dark.

4. Overgrow/Sand Viel.

5. Razor Leaf/Stun Spore

6. I'd Love to start off with a Lotad.

7. Grass Types are deffinatly one of my very favorite types.

b. Venusaur
c. The last and only time I actually did contests, I did not use any Grass pokes.
d. Meganium

2. Sunflora, Bellossom, and Jumpluff G/S/C Grass pokes are just not appealing to me, except for Meganium

3. Grass/Water Neutralizes a couple of Grass's weaknesses without making it weak to something else or increasing a weakness. It is only weak to Flying and Bug o.o

4. Overgrow and Early Bird(I hate the Sleep status)

5. Leaf Blade, Razor Leaf, and Petal Dance (I would say Solarbeam, but it is just an immense hassle to me)

6. I would also like Seedot as a starter. It was the starter of a character in my fic.

7. It is one of the six standard types I put in my team.

2. Tangela. It's not terrible, but I just can't find a good reason to like it.

4. Chlorophyll - one of my favorite reasons to use grass pokemon.

6. None I can think of.

7. Nope. I do use them though, especially Sceptile and Ludicolo.

1. a) Cacturne [so ebil >=D]
b) Victreebel
c) Used Shroomish once, so I guess Shroomish
d) Nope

2. Probably Roselia, stupid Poison Point.

3. Dual type? Poison for sure.

4. Oddly, Poison Point.

5. Dum Dum Dum, Giga Drain.

6. Err, sure, I'd start off with a Cacnea.

7. No way ... far from it. Only reason I like Cacturne is beacues it's half dark and looks awsome. My favourite type is Dark/Fire.

1a: Tropius. Bananas! ♥
1b: Sceptile. And Parasect, in the days of olde.
1c: Tropius again~
1d: Ivysaur, Tangela, and Cradily

2: I dislike the Oddish and Bellsprout lines. I've... grown very weary of seeing them; especially the former.

3: Grass/Water is a nice combo. However, I'm more fond of the idea of Grass/Dark.

4: Overgrow and Chlorophyll

5: Spore! Also fond of Aromatheraphy and Magical Leaf~

6: None, really. It might be neat to start with a Shroomish or something, though.

7: Not as such. I like a fair amount of grass-type Pokemon, but the type as a whole isn't a favourite of mine...

a) Bulbasaur
b) Venasaur
c) Cacnea/Cacturne
d) Tangela, not sure why, it seems to be forgotten

2. Bellsprout - don't like the look of it, has a funny face, plus it's plain weak. I'm not a huge fan of Treecko, only made up for the fact that I like Sceptiles.

3. I prefer Grass on their own but if I had to choose I'd go Dark, like Cacturne

4. Chlorophyll/Effect Spore

5. Solarbeam, Vine Whip's cool since it's one of the first moves I got in tune into when I first watched pokémon.

6. Cacnea, Tangela or Oddish. Can't really think of anything else.

7. It is along with Electric and Rock. I still haven't made my mind up which is favourite out of those three but's most likely to be between Electric and Grass rather than Rock.

actually grass is one of my favorite types, but fire is a little better

Cradily's Grass/Rock combo is sexy, but Ludicolo Grass/Water is hot, too.

Grass isn't one of my most favorites, but I love how elegant they can be.

i never liked sunflora or sceptile, but i don't know why.

2. Torterra. I just can't stand the looks of it. ´w` I wanna know how someone can create something that ugly.

6. Leafeon would be cool. Actually the whole concept of changing the basic starters into Eeveelutions would be very, very nice.

7. No, it's not my favorite, but one poke of this type is in my party nowadays. Overall view of them is that they are useful.
