What do the moves in each of these two groups have in common?

Group 1: Fly, Mega Kick, Double-Edge, Hydro Pump, Blizzard, Hyper Beam, Seismic Toss, Thunder, Fissure, Agility, Fire Blast, Waterfall, Flash, Aeroblast, Zap Cannon, Perish Song, Outrage, Sacred Fire, DynamicPunch, Megahorn, Pursuit, Moonlight, ExtremeSpeed, Whirlpool, Focus Punch, Wish, Superpower, Mist Ball, Hydro Cannon, Overheat, Cosmic Power, Sky Uppercut, Frenzy Plant, Volt Tackle, Water Pulse, Doom Desire, Psycho Boost, Close Combat, Flare Blitz, Aura Sphere, Focus Blast, Brave Bird, Giga Impact, Leaf Storm, Power Whip, Rock Wrecker, Gunk Shot, Head Smash, Spacial Rend, Lunar Dance, Magma Storm, Dark Void, Seed Flare

Group 2: Pound, Karate Chop, DoubleSlap, Comet Punch, Scratch, Swords Dance, Cut, Wing Attack, Whirlwind, Bind, Vine Whip, Stomp, Double Kick, Headbutt, Fury Attack, Tackle, Body Slam, Tail Whip, Twineedle, Pin Missile, Growl, Roar, SonicBoom, Ember, Peck, Low Kick, Growth, PoisonPowder, Stun Spore, Sleep Powder, Quick Attack, Screech, Double Team, Recover, Harden, Withdraw, Defense Curl, Barrier, Light Screen, Reflect, Focus Energy, Bide, Metronome, Lick, Bone Club, Kinesis, Softboiled, Barrage, Transform, Splash, Acid Armor, Crabhammer, Fury Swipes, Bonemerang, Rest, Sharpen, Conversion, Super Fang, Slash, Substitute, Struggle, Triple Kick, Thief, Curse, Flail, Cotton Spore, Reversal, Mach Punch, Belly Drum, Foresight, Bone Rush, Endure, Charm, False Swipe, Swagger, Fury Cutter, Heal Bell, Return, Frustration, Safeguard, Synthesis, Psych Up, Beat Up, Stockpile, Swallow, Torment, Facade, Nature Power, Taunt, Ingrain, Recycle, Endeavor, Arm Thrust, Camouflage, Slack Off, Astonish, Fake Tears, Odor Sleuth, Tickle, Bullet Seed, Icicle Spear, Iron Defense, Bulk Up, Roost, Natural Gift, Pluck, Acupressure, Power Trick, Lucky Chant, Punishment, Sucker Punch, Toxic Spikes, Nasty Plot, Bullet Punch, Shadow Claw, Captivate, Grass Knot, Chatter, Bug Bite.

The reason I ask is because there is are two mystery flags in the move data - group 1 moves have one flag, and group 2 another flag, and there seem to be no moves with both flags. The majority of moves have neither flag.

Ah, and speaking of flags, the following moves have had changes in their flags from Generation III, aside from the new flags: Counter, Haze, Softboiled, Struggle, Faint Attack, Milk Drink, Mirror Coat, AncientPower, Fake Out, Taunt, Wish, Imprison, Grudge, Teeter Dance, Overheat, Tickle, Covet. Most of the changes have to do with whether or not the move touches, whether or not the move is affected by Magic Coat, whether or not it is affected by BrightPowder and whether or not it is affected by King's Rock.

"Group 2" is actually KR compatibility...
It's equal to RSE up to Psycho Boost (except for Tickle).

Hmmm. I don't believe so. There seems to be some correlation, but there are still a number of moves that are in group 2 that are not flagged for King's Rock in DP: Blizzard, Thunder, Fissure, Agility, Fire Blast, Flash, Zap Cannon, Perish Song, Sacred Fire, DynamicPunch, Pursuit, Moonlight, Focus Punch, Wish, Superpower, Mist Ball, Cosmic Power, Doom Desire, Flare Blitz, Focus Blast, Lunar Dance, Dark Void.

Conversely, there are a not insignificant number of moves flagged for King's Rock that are not in group 2: Pound, Karate Chop, DoubleSlap, Comet Punch, Mega Punch, Pay Day, Scratch, ViceGrip, Razor Wind, Cut, Gust, Wing Attack, Bind, Slam, Vine Whip, Double Kick, Jump Kick, Rolling Kick, Horn Attack, Fury Attack, Tackle, Wrap, Take Down, Thrash, Pin Missile, SonicBoom, Water Gun, Surf, Peck, Drill Peck, Submission, Low Kick, Strength, Razor Leaf, SolarBeam, Petal Dance, Dragon Rage, Fire Spin, Rock Throw, Earthquake, Dig, Quick Attack, Rage, Night Shade, Bide, Selfdestruct, Egg Bomb, Clamp, Swift, Skull Bash, Spike Cannon, Hi Jump Kick, Barrage, Sky Attack, Psywave, Crabhammer, Explosion, Fury Swipes, Bonemerang, Slash, Struggle, Triple Kick, Snore, Flail, Reversal, Mach Punch, Faint Attack, Bone Rush, Rollout, False Swipe, Fury Cutter, Steel Wing, Return, Frustration, Magnitude, DragonBreath, Rapid Spin, Vital Throw, Hidden Power, Cross Chop, Twister, Beat Up, Uproar, Spit Up, Revenge, Brick Break, Endeavor, Eruption, Dive, Arm Thrust, Ice Ball, Blast Burn, Meteor Mash, Weather Ball, Air Cutter, Silver Wind, Signal Beam, Shadow Punch, Sand Tomb, Muddy Water, Bullet Seed, Aerial Ace, Icicle Spear, Dragon Claw, Bounce, Mud Shot, Poison Tail, Magical Leaf, Leaf Blade, Rock Blast, Shock Wave, Wake-Up Slap, Hammer Arm, Gyro Ball, Brine, Pluck, U-turn, Payback, Assurance, Trump Card, Wring Out, Punishment, Last Resort, Sucker Punch, Force Palm, Poison Jab, Dark Pulse, Night Slash, Aqua Tail, Seed Bomb, Air Slash, X-Scissor, Dragon Pulse, Dragon Rush, Power Gem, Drain Punch, Vacuum Wave, Earth Power, Bullet Punch, Avalanche, Ice Shard, Shadow Claw, Thunder Fang, Ice Fang, Fire Fang, Shadow Sneak, Mud Bomb, Psycho Cut, Zen Headbutt, Mirror Shot, Flash Cannon, Rock Climb, Draco Meteor, Discharge, Lava Plume, Cross Poison, Iron Head, Magnet Bomb, Stone Edge, Grass Knot, Judgment, Bug Bite, Charge Beam, Wood Hammer, Aqua Jet, Attack Order, Double Hit, Roar of Time, Crush Grip, Ominous Wind, Shadow Force.

not in group 2: Pound, Karate Chop, DoubleSlap, Comet Punch, Mega Punch, Pay Day, Scratch, ViceGrip, Razor Wind,(...)
Something is a "little" wrong here...

Anyway, I noticed that Group 1 comprises mostly high-powered moves (with a few exceptions in Whirlpool and Water Pulse), and a few support moves here and there. My best bet, however, is that these new flags have something to do with the Super Contests.
