After a lot of soul-searching I have arrived at a certain conclusion. A lot of journeying and quite a bit of battling have not only helped me shape me into the person I am today, but it also helped me make a fascinating discovery on the very nature of Pokémon games.

The discovery that I made is one of incredible grandeur, and while it isn’t something considerably inconspicuous, it is something that strikes the nature of the Pokémon games to its very core. Something that can shake the very foundations of gamefreak's HQ building were it ever to be known to them. The fact that I am about to divulge to you is of supreme importance as it concerns a very important piece of the Pokémon puzzle. The Battle Frontier:

It needs to die.

We must, of course, remind ourselves (as we always must in situations such as these) that this is not opinion, but fact. Not only is it imperative that it must die (notice the modal necessity), but it must die a death to which no adverb in any language could possibly qualify its misery and pain (I use the terms imperative, must, and death in a binding, literal fashion).

I must stress as well, that this is not only a truth, but a necessary one at that. Through logical language, it can be construed this way:

□BF →□D
BF
_________
□D

Where BF represents “The existence of the Battle Frontier” and D represents “die”. The arrow represents an “If…then…” sentence and the square represents the modality of necessity. Therefore, this should be read as:

Necessarily, If the Battle Frontier exists, then it (necessarily) must die
The Battle Frontier exists
_________
Therefore, necessarily, the Battle Frontier must die

There is no other way around it. This truth is one that is epistemically justifiable in every possible way, and it is a truth to which we are committed to adhere. How? That is up to gamefreak to decide, considering that they read this message (which they, in all likelihood, will not but are nevertheless deontologically committed to do so).

That is all.
