Y'know, Kirby does have a Spear as one of Copy Abilities. Just sayin'.

Anyway, Kirby because if he can defeat various Eldritch Abominations, a little Psychic fox is not that much trouble.
 
Kirby has a relatively infamous reputation of murdering frightening, demonic abominations and then beating up their zombified/soul forms, and while Gardy can make black holes, Kirby has survived a few black holes before, so it's a no brainer, Kirby.

Frozen ace wins. Because Froslasses can freeze opponents before the battle even starts, which gives human avatars no time to throw a Master Ball at them.
(Side reason: If Signs also count, Ice is Super Effetive against 3 members of Melanie's team)
 
I say Rick because you have a Rapidash (yay! Rapidash is my favorite!!!Its a horse, so its great automatically, but then it has a fire mane, so even better!) and Froslass is ice, so...well, its meltin' time.
 
Rick wins, I'm sure with Rick's good training that Rapidash is very well trained for battle, not sure what Kirby can do
 
Charles wins again, love that spear, I'm sure it's sharp so it easily takes down Kirby
