Why can't I edit my HoS posts?

The title line pretty much summarizes things. No edit button. End of plaint.
 
Edits are turned off across the board with the HoS. It would defeat the point if they were on, opening the door for people to possibly edit the posts that were the reason for he thread being moved there. Sadly, it's not possible to protect individual posts from editing, or we'd just do that.
 
Archaic, just look at the "yeah" thread in HoS to see some members who can edit their posts.
