Near the gates of Neo Castelia a large boom resounded causing flocks of sleeping flying types to fly back in fear as a large Slaking fired a powerful Hyper Beam.

"Looks like we have a good hunt today," a man with messy blond colored hair spoke, he had a black eyepatch over his left eye and was wearing a HESP uniform, he was also carrying a whip. "Come out wherever you are Hybrids," he grinned.

"Damn it I didn't think they'll be on watch this late at night," Jesse greeted his teeth as he looked up from a tree his eyes full with shock as he tried to find a escape route. "There has to be a way to get in.

Hybrids present at the scene: Luna Hunter, Kaya, Elle Nathaniels and Raine

Luna growled as she was hidden among the tree tops. Her Mightyena ears twitched and her long, rugged, black tail swished angrily.

"Do we just give them what they want or do we fight?" she asked herself softly. It wasn't her fault that she had been turned into a Mightyena hybrid. "So, why would the HESP come after her? If they had simple common sense, scare tactics and violence wouldn't be the right way to go about it." she figured she needed to fight. She growled and leaped out of the tree and pounced over the Slaking.

Kaya peeked out from a corner of a nearby building, trying to figure out how the HESP had found out that there had been Hybrids in the area. She had been careful in keeping her hood up, or so she had thought...did that mean that there were yet more in this city?

Seeing a young woman leap down from one of the trees and land near the Slaking, she inwardly groaned. That answered her earlier question at least, but what to do next? She was hardly about to charge in and risk getting herself captured over someone she didn't know.

Adjusting her sunglasses while watching the battle, Kelsey watched the ensuing battle between the hybrids and the Slaking, her long scarf fluttering a little in the breeze. She headed further forwards in order to get a better view, trying to analyse the mutations of the hybrids, and how they may present a challenge. One was covered in feathers, the other in fur... it would be difficult to make any assumptions about their combat abilities this early on.

She shoved her hands in her pockets and watched in silence, making a mental note to step in if things became too hot to handle.

OOC: oopsies didn't read first post carefully enough sorry ^-^;

Meanwhile, Steven had been circling around the area riding a Pidgeotto, his unzipped HESP jacket blowing in the wind. The Pidgeotto slowed and landed near Luna - he figured ganging up on one Hybrid first would be easier - and he got off. "You know what to do." Pidgeotto nodded, and unleashed a Gust attack.

Raine shuddered awake with a gasp, as the roar of a howling gale blew past her. Lying at the base of a tree, hidden among the roots with the sole blanket she had salvaged from her companions, she reached out uncertainly, grasping for her metal cane. Startled awake by the unnatural wind--and the roars and crashes of what seemed to be a battle--she swung her head about slowly and surely, straining to catch the faintest sound with her ears. Noise is bad, she reminded herself. Noise means HESP will be here soon.

Hand finally closing around the plastic head of the cane, Raine slowly rose, free hand already taking the tattered blanket and wrapping it around her shoulders with practiced motions. Ears cocked, she swiftly turned away from the sound of the battle, and began swinging the cane ahead of her in smooth, controlled arcs. Heart already pounding, blood thudding unnaturally loudly in her ears, she took deep shallow breaths, and forged onward, wincing each time the tip of the cane loudly collided with some unknown obstacle. Still, even as she fled, she felt guilt weigh down upon her at her cowardice. I'm sorry. But there's nothing I can do.

Luna growled as she dashed and fled back into the rough, rustling treetops. She mentally cursed as she realized that there was no way out of this. She needed to figure out a better strategy if she were to make it out alive. Momentarily, she began trying to think of a way that she could catch the enemy off-guard. While she knew she was outnumbered, her father had always told her to go down with a fight. So, that's what she decided to do. Suddenly, she began howling towards the midnight sky and the full moon.

Logan had only watched the battle that just occurred. He saw the Mightyena Hybrid leap into the treetops to hide. "Crobat, find it." Logan said as he released his Crobat. The flying type flew up high and began looking around. It wasn't long before he heard the howl, distinctive to a Mightyena. Crobat then flew back towards his trainer and gestured for it to follow. Logan followed Crobat through the forested area, trying to track down the source of the howl.

"There's too many of them damn it," Jesse cursed as he looked at the HESP agent that commanded the Slaking.

"It's time for you to say bye, all of you," he grinned as suddenly a large helicopter began to hover above everyone.

OOC: You will all have to be captured.

"Well, shit," Luna cursed. She knew that there was no way out. She knew she was going to be captured. She sighed and jumped down from the trees and looked up at the helicopter.

Raine froze, dropping her cane and clapping her hands over ears. The thunderous beats of the helicopter's spinning blades assaulted her hearing, which was extremely sensitive to compensate for her blindness. She completely lost her bearings, falling to her knees, as her world was overwhelmed with raw sound. She whimpered, curling up into a fetal position, utterly lost in the noise. "What's happening..."

OOC: Got it.

Kaya gave a slight jump as she heard the copter up above, cursing under her breath. "Perfect, now what..." Running was no longer an option, they would mostly likely seal off the entire area and search everyone before they would be allowed out. Perhaps it would be best to simply try to hide in the area until they cleared out...

Before she could do so though, she noticed a figure running away wildly towards her area, with what appeared to be a cane in their hand. As the copter blades grew louder they collapsed, clearly afraid. Ugh, I know I'm going to regret this... "Are you all right?" Kaya asked, kneeling down beside the person.

"Damn it this is not good," Jesse frowned to himself; he just wanted to be able to enter Neo Castelia but now it seemed like things weren't going to go well. Before he could do something to react though he saw a large net being thrown out of the chopper as well as electricity coursing through it. The net extended throughout the area and Jesse was able to see as the HESP agents seemed to be transported by a psychic technique before the net fell over him and began sending shocks through his body.

With the noise of the helicopter overpowering almost everything else, Raine barely sensed the arrival of a person kneeling next to her, and could scarcely make out what he or she was saying. Tentatively placing the person as being nest to her, she tilted her head towards the person, and whispered, "Who are you?"

The sensation of a net falling over her and pouring electricity through her frame ceased any further questions.

Kaya frowned, unable to hear what the person said in response. Unfortunately, before she could respond, something from above landed and let out a shocking charge, knocking her to the ground. Not even thirty seconds and already regretting it. Must be a new record, she mused before blacking out.

OOC: You will all have to be captured.

OOC: *Makes train noises*

"Hey, what seems to be the problem?" A young woman asks one of the hunters, walking out of a nearby diner, dabbing at her mouth with a napkin. The light glinted off her triangular shades.

Steven noticed the woman who asked the question, and turned to face her. "HESP. These Hybrids have been flagged." He glanced back at the battle, before turning back to the woman. "Seems to be going well."
