So Mega Evolutions don't count as Pokemon, then?

The difference is you can use a single game file (one version) to get a legendary pokemon.

But in this context, you need two game files (both versions) to get a certain Mega Evolved pokemon. No player in his/her right mind will trade away a Mega Stone.
Otherwise, people will have to wait for PokeTransporter to come out.

Considering that it appears that 30% of our missing dex went into Mega Pokemon instead of Kalos Pokemon, they better damn well count as new Pokemon.

I agree, they could have made more real evolutions than just Sylveon alone, but sometimes I feel Megas are an excuse to not make new evolutions to older Pokemon.

Not really. They're still the same Pokemon at the core, just with slightly different art and stats.

Well we already heard of Wartortle from I think Kanpatchi.

Kind of wish they discovered Johto or another regions starters first. I mean, catching extra starters is always a cool addition, but we already get two Kalos starters and a Kanto starter for free as part of the story, might've been nice to see another regional starter. Others might be available, but confirmations would be nice.

Is this a different guy from the one who says there's a facility we'd never believe? This one actually hints more of a remake (or a hidden region in this game but I doubt it) since unlike the Battle Frontier, we don't expect an entire town to relocate. There's also a few unbelievable cities and towns in Hoenn like Fortree and Pacifidlog (though Humilau is nicer)

There are still 2 names missing from the Japanese name leaks a few months before, implying we are having 2 events Pokemon. Fuupa and Borukenion.

If this is really foreshadowing a remake, then the hint is just so sad and pathetic. So what? next gen we will have a NPC who says " Save 50 euros, so you could buy a ticket to Sinnoh" ...:/

Besides, given how they are ramming all those Hoen megas down our throats, I think that they should just stick Hoen post game in Z and call it a remake.

I really hope that ends up being true. 3 legends is just sad. I love my flashy, elaborately designed legends even if for collection purposes only.
