We could easily confirm the possibility by his claim without having a CC on it. It doesn't guarantee his claim, but it could make it more believable.

Why are you so certain we'll lose if we don't lynch Lone? That strongly implies you're certain he is Mafia. This early in the game, that is suspicious.
