Sorry, but I'm not convinced. I'll retain my theory about Poipole's return and evolution until proven otherwise with 100% certainty.

This is exactly what you are talking about. This PokeFan issue shows everyone's team in the league.

What makes you so sure? We don't know exactly how far the League is.

Even though I’m in favour of Poipole evolving, the league can’t be that far away due to time constraints and if one more story arc is there then it has to be near.

Still, it could be that this scan simply doesn't mention Poipole because they don't want to spoil its return. Don't forget that possibility.

They spoiled Brionne's evolution (which was a given anyways) along with the fact that Soph and Mallow get Z-Rings (also a given).

They’ve spoiled Brionne’s evolution, Mallow’s Z-Crystal and Magearna being used for the league though.

I’d expect at least some cryptic line about it...

That's unfortunate. Torracat is already underused enough.

It’s easily the least used starter Pokemon owned by Ash in the anime’s history. And that’s a pity.
It has less varied battles than Rowlet of all things!

I’m beginning to hate this saga for Torracat’s handling alone. They also neglect to mention anything about Torracat’s power and rivalry with Masked Royal in the summary, only its barebones battles with Lycanroc.

Yeah. Torracat is the most neglected starter Pokemon owned by Ash. It hardly does anything other than Battle Royals, never participated in any Grand Trial, and it can't even use a Z-Move.

Masked Royal has been the only battle opponent Torracat has had if we remove the Lycanroc sparring.
