eh....to be fair, the post-game bits of FRLG add just about the same amount of depth as the "enhancements" ORAS had with the storyline.

Aether isn't evil, though. there's just a few bad eggs in the group surrounding Lusamine and Faba.

as someone who did explore every pixel of the game, the substantial level lead doesn't last forever. there simply isn't enough EXP to keep you vastly ahead once you hit the higher levels. the EXP really drops off in the later parts of the campaign.

the surprising thing about that is how quickly Pokemon would appear on a new console

    Generation VII confirmed!

it's real, it's just a mythical Pokemon and locked behind events/QR Codes

except it's not left so open ended, at least no more open ended than other regions.

real life location names. this is a moot point. Rotom may be from Gen IV, but the Pokedex came from Kalos. (#kalossequelsCONFIRMT) the Backpacker is from Gen V (#unovaremakesCONFIRMT) Blue and Red (and their approximates) are a common color for Game Freak. but evolves into a Snorlax; they...

of course, but you know people aren't thinking about it unless it's convenient to bring it up in a discussion/argument/etc about the seeming lack of post-game content Gen 6 onwards

tbh ya'll'll never be satisfied with the post game unless there's a Frontier or PWT. Emerald and BW2 get pretty rave reviews for their post-game content when it's really just the Frontier/PWT. also, why do people even like Cynthia? she's an average character at best and yet she seems to be...

    Generation VII confirmed!

yes, it lacks the Battle Frontier and the PWT if that's what you mean.

and why is fairness suddenly relevant? Gen V got sequels instead of generic third versions, Gen II was remade as a whole as opposed to FRLG and ORAS being a bit more faithful to the source, and so on. fairness is never relevant and the word you're probably looking for instead is equal. and who...

Z was not released because it would've meant five years (six internationally) in a row of Pokemon games, leading to saturation and exhaustion. the alternative would be to release Z over SM as the 20th anniversary "present" or simply not release SM and have Z in 2015, both of which seem a bit...

i mean Sky Battles were immediately dropped from XY to ORAS and yet the sky hasn't fallen. Yokai Watch already picked up on the split version gimmick, along with possibly the third version one as well (Yokai Watch 2 had three versions, Yokai Watch 3 has two thus far). of course, similar to...

but there weren't so many hints. the only credible hint was Zygarde being left unattended to, but that alone doesn't really merit a return to Kalos especially now that it's practically been retconned into something else. with Zygarde in SM, outside of a remake there'd be little reason to go...

i feel then that they would've wanted to promote Pokemon as a core title from the get-go then, but that doesn't seem to be the case since Switch launches in 2017 which would be in the early days of Gen 7. the flip side to that though, is the fact that main series Pokemon has never been a launch...

    Generation VII confirmed!

i mean if they didn't introduce new ones in the opening games of the gen, i wouldn't be completely surprised if they just nixed the concept going forwards.

Doubles is the format for VGC so that makes sense

and then not even include Sky Battles anyways.

TPC is made up of one third Game Freak, one third Creatures Inc., and one third Nintendo. it's their brand management company so what they say in regards to the video games is about as good as what Game Freak says.

    GameFreak still calls it mythical.
