In anime, Mantines cry freaked me out the first time I heard and saw it. Torterra in Anime has a good cry to (based on what it is) and I liked it a lot.

I always found diglets Anime cry to be funny as well as Mime Jrs.

Gastrodoon always reminds me of a slug oozing its way over something, but suppose thats what its meant to do maybe?

Best: Doexys, Chatot (PERAP!), Pikachu, Drifblim, Shinx, (so cute! Or maybe I'm just going insane from chaining them with the volume up for so long. ._.) Froslass and Glaceon.

Worst: Manectric (Ow), Electrike (Ow), and Gastrodon. (Aftermentioned reasons)

I don't think I hate any of the cries (non of them bother me) but the strangest one for me is Shelgon's cry as it sounds like it's throwing up.

Well, I can name two cries off the top of my head.
Mewtwo's; because of the fact it says "Muhammad Ali" at the end. I'm not kidding.
Skunktanks; I swear it's a fart, but no-one seems to beleive me.

I don't know if there is any cries that I don't like, probably Wailord's.

Great: Palkia, Electabuzz, Phione, Ho-Oh, Froslass

Good: Mismagius, Totodile, Nidoking, Electrike, Kriketune, Shaymin

Bad: Chatot, Skuntank. Oh, and Ditto and Poliwag. I swear, it's the same cry for both.

Ugly: Dialga, Darkrai and Lickilicky. Dialga sounds like its getting a fart squeezed out of it.

Unique: Jynx, Zapdos, Lugia, Deoxys

A couple 1st gens share similar sounds... the example you mentioned, Vileplume and Aerodactyl, Koffing and Hitmonlee to an extent, and Dragonite and Venusaur. There a probably a few others too, but I can't remember them off the top of my head right now.

Love: Charizard, Torterra, Rhyperior, Garchomp, Staraptor

Hate: Geodude,Graveler,Bidoof,Bibarel,Snover and the worst cry ever is....Stunky!!!

Edit: My mate swears that he things charizards and rhyhorns cries are the same..

i like arceus, electivire, lugia, abomasnow, frosslass, rayquaza and heatran cries

I hate dialga, magmortar and darkrais cries. dialga sounds like a *****

zapdos and articuno also have good cries.

i find that kricketunes abnormally long and obnoxious cry makes my ears bleed
i really like staraptor

I've gotten to the point were I simply cannot stand Staravia's cry. The moment I hear it, I can't help but grit my teeth in irritation. And I'm not too fond of Dialga's, Stunky's or Kricketune's cries.

I love Palkia's cry (he sounds like he's going to tear your head off) and Electivire's.
