Day 1 start - Please Wait In The Lobby - 4/8/17

  • All role PMs have been sent. Please confirm that you received them within Day 1.

Day 1: Please Wait In The Lobby

It was a new day, and Prof. Willow had just made a great new discovery. Apparently, there are some Pokémon out there in the real world, that are much stronger than others. They're called Raid Pokémon and tend to appear in Gyms, awaiting for groups of aspiring Trainers to defeat and capture them.

To further his research, Prof. Willow managed to gather his 3 assistants and their partners, as well as another great Trainer known for their achievements in catching and battling for more than a year, to make an all-star team, known as Professor Willow's Team that would take down the Raid Pokémon.

... but before that happens, they need to wait a few minutes in the lobby just in case more random people or spoofers enter the group :(

It is now Day 1. It will end in 48 hours + 7 hours + 40 minutes (11pm GMT), unless HYPER-MAJORITY occurs.
With 13 players alive, 9 are needed for HYPER-MAJORITY.

    Elementar I (JohnnyEtz)
    Midorikawa I (BorgyDudeMan)

Night 1: Defeat Numero Uno, Articuno

The Team first engaged a Raid Tyranitar. It used Bite a few times until it could charge its Charge Move, Stone Edge, which it proceed to unleash against poor Articuno, that is double weak to it. It did instantly faint, causing Team Mystic's Blanche to burst in tears.

    Dear jdthebud, you are Articuno.
    250px-144Articuno.png

Articuno is a large avian Pokémon with predominantly blue plumage and large wings said to be made of ice. It has a head crest that consists of three, darker blue rhombus-shaped feathers on its forehead and circular red eyes. Its beak is short and gray, and its long, thin legs are the same color. It has a long, streamer-like tail that is longer than its body and the same shade of blue as its crest.

When Articuno flaps its wings, it can chill the moisture in the air around it, making snow fall. It flies from icy mountain to icy mountain. According to legend, it appears before doomed travelers lost in icy regions. As seen in the anime, Articuno sometimes aids travelers and guides them to safety. Articuno lives in cold, isolated locations, such as mountain peaks.

  • Day 2: Like a Candela In The Wind

The battle against Raid Tyranitar timed out and was unsuccessful, so the Team took a shot at a nearby Lugia. However, after it aimed an Aeroblast at Moltres, Candela was accidentally blown away.

    Dear Elementar, you are Candela.

Candela (Japanese: キャンデラ Candela), the leader of Team Valor (Japanese: チーム・ヴァーラー Team Valor), who is researching Pokémon strength. Team Valor Trainers believe that their Pokémon are the strongest because they train to naturally enhance a Pokémon's power in search of true strength. Team Valor is represented by Moltres.

Night 2: The End of Tyranitar's Tyranny

The Team managed to regroup and attempt Raid Tyranitar again. This time they did have to use some Stardust and Candy to power-up their best counters against it, as well as use a few TMs to optimize their moveset. This time, they managed to get it successfully within the time limit.

Dear Sword Master, you are Raid Tyranitar.
    250px-248Tyranitar.png

Tyranitar is a large, bipedal, dinosaurian Pokémon with a green, armor-like hide covering its body. It has two pairs of pointed teeth: one in the upper jaw and one in the lower. Several spikes of varying size protrude from the back of its head, neck, and shoulders. Both sides of its chest, the center of its back, and its knees have two triangular holes. There is a gray, diamond-shaped patch of scales covering its belly, and a smaller one on its back. It has three claws on its feet and hands. A ring of spikes surrounds the tip of its tail.

Tyranitar is a powerful Pokémon with an insolent nature. It is extremely strong, and its thick, rocky hide gives it a good resistance to all forms of attack. Because of this, it is always looking for a battle and will not flinch at anything. If enraged, Tyranitar sets off outstanding earthquakes that can completely change the entire landscape, often forcing cartographers to draw up new maps. It lives in nests made from demolished mountains.

    Dear HumanDawn, you are Spark.

Spark (Japanese: スパーク Spark), the leader of Team Instinct (Japanese: チーム・インスティンクト Team Instinct), who is researching Pokémon breeding. Team Instinct Trainers believe a Pokémon's intuition is linked to how they are hatched. Team Instinct is represented by Zapdos.

  • Day 5: Burnt Out

The Raid Battle against Venusaur raged on and the next Sludge Bomb was used, this time on Moltres, which had already received some damage before and is now knocked out.

    Dear Midorikawa, you are Moltres.
    250px-146Moltres.png

Moltres is a large, avian Pokémon with orange or golden plumage. It has a long, flowing head crest and a billowing tail, both made of flames. Additionally, its wings are also shrouded in fiery plumage. Its straight, pointed beak is brown, as are its anisodactyl feet. It has short talons.

Moltres sheds embers with every flap of its wings, creating a brilliant flash of flames. By dipping itself into the magma of an active volcano, this Pokémon can heal itself. It migrates to the south with the coming of spring, and is said to bring an early springtime to cold lands. Moltres is rarely seen by Trainers.

Night 5 start - Raid Magikarp used Splash! But This Time Something Happened - 19/8/17

  • DAY 5 VOTE COUNT - FINAL
    Elementar I (DarthWolf)
    DarthWolf I (Elementar)

Night 5: Raid Magikarp used Splash! But This Time Something Happened

The battle against Raid Venusaur timed out. Soon after, as the team was contemplating what to do next after this unexpected problem, a Raid Magikarp spawned. That one, being Level 1, was very easy to defeat; every single one of them could've done it alone anyway.

Dear JohnnyEtz Elementar, you are Raid Magikarp
    250px-129Magikarp.png

Magikarp is a medium-sized fish Pokémon with large, heavy reddish-orange scales. It has large, vacant eyes and pink lips. Its pectoral and tail fins are white, but it has a stiff, three-peaked fin on its back and stomach that are both yellow. It also has long barbels. The barbels are white on a female and tan on a male.

A long-lived Magikarp is able to utilize its immense splashing power to leap high enough to scale mountains. It also has a strong enough immune system to survive in the most polluted of waters. However, it is usually overlooked by Trainers because of its perceived weakness: even in the heat of battle it will do nothing but flop around. It is not a strong swimmer, and currents in the water will sweep it downstream. It is normally seen using its former signature move, Splash, to leap out of the water, which makes them easy targets to predators such as Pidgeotto. It is believed that the ancestors of Magikarp were actually much stronger than modern Magikarp, and this led scientists to research this species. Magikarp is found in many bodies of water, such as lakes, rivers, and ponds. However, due to its weak swimming ability it usually lives downstream of the water's flow.

Because you technically are a Raid Pokémon but are the most easily soloable Rank 1 of the game and aren't really threatening anyone, and because the entire reason you're in this game is to mess with the players, you are the Non-Threatening Miller Voteless Jester

Cop checks aimed at you will show you allied with the Raid Pokémon if you are not really allied with them.
Ally Cop checks aimed at you, however, will show you as an Ally, not an Enemy, as you are not a direct threat.
Your vote does not count, but this will not show in vote counts.

    Day 6 start - Zapped Off - 20/8/17

  • Day 6: Zapped Off

With Raid Magikarp down, the Team tried to take on Raid Venusaur again. This time they powered up some more, wasting a lot of Stardust in the process, but hoping they'll manage to defeat in time this attempt. The battle started just like the previous one, but this time the Sludge Bomb hit Zapdos.

    Dear Jsach, you are Zapdos.
    250px-145Zapdos.png

Zapdos is a large avian Pokémon with predominantly yellow plumage. Black rings encircle its eyes, and it has a long, thin, light orange beak. Its wings and tail are a mass of spiky feathers, with black feathers covering the back of its wings and inner tail feathers. A large crest of spiked feathers surrounds its head. Its thighs are a khaki color, and it has anisodactyl feet ending in talons.

When Zapdos flaps its glittering wings, it releases electricity that can potentially cause thunderstorms. It produces massive crackling and snapping sounds when it flies; these are attributed to the lightning bolts it sheds when airborne. When stricken by lightning, it gains power. Zapdos reportedly appears only during thunderstorms, and is said to live among thunderclouds. However, it is rarely seen.

Dear BorgyDudeMan, you are Professor Willow.
    170px-GO_Professor_Willow.png

Professor Willow (Japanese: ウィロー博士 Dr. Willow) is a Pokémon Professor who appears in the Pokémon GO mobile game. Similar to Professor Birch, he specializes in Pokémon habitats and distribution. Unlike other Professors who directly give Trainers their first Pokémon, Professor Willow gives Trainers their first Poké Balls to capture their first Pokémon.

The battle against Raid Venusaur timed out and the timer in which it could be fought expired as well. The player was the only Trainer left, alone. His team's leader Spark, and even the Professor himself, were beaten. And he had no Raid Passes left of PokeCoins to buy more.

Dear TheCapsFan, you are the player character.

Your main objective in the game is to catch all the Pokémon. A side objective is battling in Gyms, as they let you get you PokéCoins which let you buy items which help you catch all the Pokémon.

As a result, you are the Catcher (Pokémon Neighborizer) + Day 1 Team Selector.

In Day 1, you have to select one of the three teams: Instinct, Mystic or Valor. Your selection may affect some future events in the game. If you do not select a team in time, a random one will be chosen and you will be informed of the RNG's choice.

Every night, you may attempt to catch a Pokémon. To do so, post CATCH: <player> in this chat. If the player you used your action on is a Pokémon character, they will be added in a chat with you, letting you communicate outside of the thread.

You are allied with Professor Willow's Team and win when the Raid Pokémon and any possible independent opposing forces are eliminated.
Zachie lost in endgame. He was the player character, Town Catcher (Pokemon Neighborizer) + Day 1 Team Selector

The only Pokemon left was Lugia which was unable to save its legendary bird partners. It departed, hoping for a better future.

    Dear Pika_pika42, you are Lugia.
    250px-249Lugia.png

Lugia is a large Pokémon that resembles a dragon, a plesiosaur, and a bird. It is primarily pale silver-white, but it has blue undersides with slightly varying tones. It has a ridged mouth similar to a beak, although it has pointed teeth on its lower jaw. Its head has a point to the back, and Lugia’s eyes have pointed blue or black spikes on them. Lugia has a long, slender neck and a smooth, streamlined body. Dark blue or black plate-like protrusions run down the length of its back, and there are two smaller, more pointed ones on the end of its tail. It can fold back these plates to increase its speed. It has large wings that resemble hands. Though it is genderless, a young Lugia has been observed, suggesting that there is a breeding population. Lugia has been shown to be fiercely protective of its young.

Lugia leads the Legendary birds. When they fight over territory, Lugia is the only Pokémon that can quell their ceaseless fighting, as observed in the second Pokémon movie. Much like the birds, it possesses the ability to control the weather; most notably, it can calm and give rise to storms. It is said that a light flutter of its wings is capable of causing winds powerful enough to tear down cliffs. If it were to flap its wings, it could hypothetically spawn storms lasting as long as 40 days. It is highly intelligent, and because of the devastating power it could accidentally inflict, it isolates itself deep underwater and tends to sleep in solitude. Lugia is the only known Pokémon that learns Aeroblast. It is extremely rare and is hardly ever seen.

    - Bulbapedia
Because of being a Rank 5 Raid Pokémon that Professor Willow does not know of (unlike your legendary bird partners), you are the Miller + 1x Aeroblast User.

The Raid Pokemon emerged victorious. Tyranitar was defeated, but the MVP Venusaur and the elusive Alakazam have prevailed.

Dear DarthWolf, you are Raid Venusaur.
    250px-003Venusaur.png

Venusaur is a squat, quadruped Pokémon with bumpy, blue-green skin. It has small, circular red eyes, a short, blunt snout, and a wide mouth with two pointed teeth in the upper jaw and four in the lower jaw. On top of its head are small, pointed ears with reddish pink insides. It has three clawed toes on each foot. The bud on its back has bloomed in a large pink, white-spotted flower. The flower is supported by a thick, brown trunk surrounded by green fronds. A female Venusaur will have a seed in the center of its flower.

Venusaur uses its flower to catch the sun's rays to convert them into energy, which causes the flower to take on colors that are more vibrant. The flower releases a soothing scent that attracts Pokémon. This scent becomes stronger after a rainy day. In the anime, Venusaur has demonstrated the ability to manipulate nature, release several vines from its back and lead evolution ceremonies for Bulbasaur and Ivysaur. Frenzy Plant was its signature move in the past. This Pokémon is rarely found in the wild, but has been known to inhabit grasslands.

Dear Blink, you are Raid Alakazam.

Alakazam is characterized by its humanoid structure and large mustache. The female Alakazam has a significantly shorter mustache than the male. Its snout is long and thin, and it has long, ear-like spikes extending from the back of its head. Additional spike protrude from each cheek. Covering its yellow, skeletal body are brown armor-like sections over its chest, shoulders, forearms and knees. There are three toes on each foot, each of which has a white claw. It wields a silver spoon in each hand, which act as amplifiers for its psychic abilities. Alakazam is able to lower the accuracy of its opponents by bending the spoons it wields, using its signature move Kinesis.

Alakazam is able to use all forms of psychic abilities. These powers are used to move its body, as opposed to its weak muscles. It also uses its psychic powers to hold up its head, which is too heavy to be supported by its neck, due to its continually growing brain. It is said to have an excellent memory and can remember everything that it has experienced since hatching as an Abra, and has an IQ that exceeds 5,000. It is found in urban areas.
