Best Wishes turned the majority of BW2 into "post-game" content by placing it after the League

XY&Z did a similar thing with the Kalos Crisis (not that many actually bothered to watch it because Ash had already lost the League and as such the series was over :p)
That was turning regular content into post-league arcs rather than adapting actual post-game content.

With Giovanni still being free, there is no reason for his AU counterpart to show up. And considering that he wanted the other leaders gone, it would be odd if he suddenly cooperated with them or other versions.

Same it would make no sense for Giovanni to bring back the other leaders.

Lusamine is the evil team leader of SM.

And the worst one at that because shes not even evil.
She's not even an evil team leader, people. She was a standalone villain, who just had a lot of people working under her, and they only followed her orders, not knowing how looney she truly was.

And who's saying that Rainbow Rocket won't be different in the anime than in the games? Heck, who's to say that we won't just get the regular Team Rocket provide us the final villainous team conflict of the Sun & Moon series, since Lusamine was never evil in the anime and Team Skull obviously isn't going to be doing anything huge? My guess is Team Rocket will provide the final conflict of the series by seeking the power of Ultra Necrozma.

Oh because thats a great way to end things off for the villains in SM bring back Team Rocket its not like they did that for BW. And for me this shows how little of a leg SM has to stand on if they have to keep bringing back old things.

I mean... any ambition would make sense over expanding land masses/flooding the world.
I see you, like many others before and after you, have missed the whole "make more room for humans/pokémon" that those schemes hinged on

Doesn't make 'em any less stupid, mind, but there was a goal in mind when waking up the Crimson Lord of the Land and Blue King of the Sea

After achieving their goals Team Magma would’ve just died of dehydration and Team Aqua would’ve died due to starvation because of no crops.

Water pokémon are the most plentiful of things on the planet, and as Aether Paradise shows, it's possible to have a floating structure with enough space to grow flora, which could easily include crops

Magma wants Mad Max
Aqua wants Waterworld
