See,now I don't like this. Nothing in the trailers is going to be a surprise anymore.
We already know or have a general idea of the region name, we know the gimmick, we saw these "fake" pokemon, we straight up saw images of the gym leaders, we know some stuff about the gameplay and story.

Damn, well I guess this might be the generation I make myself as the trainer rather than try and make an original trainer if I cant design them interestingly

Maybe I will change my mind if theres jackets and such or if it extends past "long sleeve or short sleeve of the same design pants or shorts of the same design". Sense glasses have never looked good in pokemon games and I hate hats just in general. Only so much I can do with hair.

Edit: On another note that is another point for violet the stripes in the scarlet pants/shorts makes them so ugly.

Khu said that the villains are related to crows and the 2nd leaker said that murkrow gets a new evolution.

This got me thinking that Khu's hint is perhaps more literal than just a manga reference and the villain uses this new murkrow evolution.

Who else do we know that uses murkrow and is a villain? Hehehehe

I don't feel super good about these regional fakes having their own names and their own pokedex entry and presumably their own number in the pokedex.

I don't care what they do it'll be difficult to acknowledge them as "new" Pokemon. It makes them seem like glorified pallette swaps from traditional JRPGs. (glorified because at least they're a little different)

It's different when they're just forms, it doesn't feel like trying to sell them as anything they're not. Alolan Vulpix is still a Vulpix.

The cynical side of me can't help thinking it's a way to pad out the "New Pokemon" quota without actually designing a brand new Pokemon.

Cyrus, leader of Team Galactic. I don't know how people would feel if after Sinnoh remakes that the next gen would decide to reuse Team Galactic as the main villains instead of creating a new villainous team.

Trying to connect everything... What if:

There is the gimmick of STAB as we now know it. Used by most important characters. Including GL + E4 + Champion.
Types between GL and E4 don't overlap, that makes 12 types represented.

A new concept is the flag/racing mechanic. Khu also said we could guess the types used by the flag thing. Flags represented by the five point star. That makes 5 types including Fire.

12 + 5 + 1 champion specialist = 18 types, all types represented in this game via different type of challenges.

Time warp is a thing. The "RFakes" are time warped Pokemon. Following some sort of evolutive convergence principle like someone theorized. And the reverse principle for "future" forms.

Khu stated that 3 gimmicks are completely seperate from the new flag/racing system. Khu mention that the "new concept, which influenced the battles someway." The new flag thing is a new sys (system), but haven't been teased yet. So the flag/racing system are not part of the gimmick (that includes the new concept gimmick).

So this "New Concept" gimmick suppose to be something similar to Mega Evolution, but we don't know yet.

So maybe the flag system does have something to do with types, and racing system probably happen before you challenge the gym leaders.

Since the leaker already reveal the 2 out of the 3 gimmicks. Not only this "New Concept hasn't been revealed yet along with Flag and racing system. So we got monday for the leaker whether or not to reveal them.
