This looks like a World Championships 2010 Eevee, so it seems legit.

All of the encounter/OT information checks out. Do you know the nature/evs on the Pokémon? With a neutral nature the Attack stat is invalid

I think it's legit but I'm not sure about any Lv. 100 Pokemon in Master Ball so can somen check it for me please?

ok so i was chaining a lotad the other day and after 270 chains of nothing, i get my sparky patch of grass, i go ahead and capture that lotad, and to my surprise, the next chain also has a shiny! so i go ahead and also capture that one too. after that i checked both in the pokesav and i kept the first lotad, and decided to give the second to a friend, after i give the second to my friend i decide to check then with sabresite`s legality check, and it turns out the second lotad has "Chain Sync: INVALID", dunno whats the problem i did all the catching legally and the only odd thing was that the second lotad came right after i captured the first. heres a cap of the 2 pokemons in legality check:
lotads.jpg

please is this pokemon really illegal? or is just some random thing of legality check, because it isnt my first chain shiny and they all had everything right, can someone answer please?, and will i be able to use this on wifi and battle revolution?

Got a definite hackjob from GTS late Saturday night/early Sunday morning.

Pokemon Species: Golurk
OT: PCApp
ID No: 32760
Nickname: None
Level: 100
Shiny: Yes
Ball: Poke Ball
Encounter: Day-Care Couple; Hatched at Route 2 on March 7, 2011
Nature: Adamant
Personality: Likes to thrash about
EVs: 31 in all except Speed
Ability: No Guard

The Ability was the dead giveaway. Unless GF changed the rules without us hearing about it, genderless and male DW Pokemon can't pass their Hidden Abilities, yet here it is. So if you see a level 100 shiny offering from an OT named PCApp, you may want to tread with care.

Before you ask; yes, I'm keeping him. He'll get some use in game, maybe a stint or two at breeding and that's about it. I don't do competitive battling and I won't put him back on GTS. (Hack or not, the shiny Automatons I get will stay with me.)

The OT may have set the date on the system that he/she used to play his/her game, so the date is not enough to verify if it's hacked.

The date could be a simple mistake by the player; my Infernape is technically from the future because I had set my DS ahead a year by accident. As for the OT, I have seen a couple of OTs that are a string of question marks, one that was a couple of hearts and another that was a smilie but the Pokemon I got from them were fine. I'd have been much more worried if the ID number had been 00000; I have a couple of blatantly hacked shinies with that ID. I'm thinking that what you have is legit; it doesn't scream "I've been AR'd!" like some of the others I've seen.

Checked the appropriate pages, and there are no Wi-Fi events listed for Froslass or Snorunt. Definitely hacked.

How can I tell if this Pokemon I got in a GTS trade is hacked or not!

Sorry man but that's hacked. If it's encountered on route 1 at lvl. 2 then its not possible.

First of all, it's in an Ultra Ball, and I haven't gotten to this "Friend Safari" yet but you can't catch starters unless you can in the Friend Safari. So is this Charmeleon hacked? I got it on the GTS for an Espurr.

you can catch starters in the Friend Safari, don't worry c:

----------------------

I've gone ahead and added a new addition to the format to help specify things further. With Gen 6 allowing pokemon to be caught in pokeballs previously automatically marking a pokemon as hacked, this should help further identify hacks without the added confusion on what game you're playing.

Serebii has a really nice list of Pokes that can be caught in Friend Safari. It includes the Starters in this Generation and First Generation.

OK thanks, I am going to train him up now that I know he's not hacked.

Okay, I've been looking through my Pokemon lately, and I noticed that a Politoed I got in (I think) a GTS trade a while back had Drizzle. Looking closer, it seems a bit too good, so just out of curiosity, what do you guys think:

Gen this is concerning: V
Pokemon Species: Politoed
Ribbons: Premier Ribbon
Ball: Pokeball
Area encountered: Day-Care Couple (Egg received on 10/12/2011) Relic Castle (egg apparently hatched on the same day).
OT: FLeaf (ID: 12867)
Moves: Hydro Pump, Ice Beam, Focus Blast, Hidden Power (Grass).
Stats: Timid Nature, somewhat vain, has Pokerus.
HP: 322
Attack: 166
Defense: 186
Special Attack: 278
Special Defense: 236
Speed: 262

My guess is it's just been RNGd because of the ribbon, then expertly EV trained, but I figured I'd ask anyway just to be safe.
