  • Yeah, the people that say AG is the best usually give the same reasons you did. They say it has the best balance when it comes to Ash's power and personality. Add to that the fact that May was a far better character than Misty IMO and I enjoyed Brock and Max as well.
I would say watching Kanto has extreme nostalgic value for sure. I get more nostalgic watching Kanto than I do any other show I watched when I was little. Probably because Pokémon was a huge part of my childhood. And yes, the emotion they put into some of the episodes and the comedy is by far the best in the series. I don't think any subsequent series really reaches some of the emotion and humor that Kanto was able to deal out quite often. About the Pokémon's personality, I have to agree that some of his Pokémon didn't have much personality with obvious exceptions like Charizard, Squirtle, Pikachu, etc.

    What's your favorite Pokémon series?
Speaking of the Kanto League, what did you think of Kanto in general. It seems like you weren't a huge fan of the League or the battles but did you enjoy everything else about it?
I doubt DA! will change my opinion about BW all that drastically either. To comment on your opinions, the execution seems to be what a lot of people comment on and I have to agree when it comes to some things. The Unova League and most of the handling of the rivals were unsatisfactory to say the least. Having said that, I did like some of the rivals and their backstories, personalities and motivations. It's just a shame that the writers really decided to give up on them near the end of BW. The Unova League was just such a disappointment and it's by far the worst League. It had so much potential also. As for the battles, yeah, they were lackluster. I think there were some good ones but I missed the strategy elements that were used in prior seasons. Johto, Hoenn and Unova all had better battles because of how strategic Ash was. The Unova battles may have been equal or just above Kanto's battles for me (probably just above).

Ash's reset is a big complaint I hear about and while it didn't bother me that much, I could see why people would have a bad taste in their mouth because of it. As for Ash's Pokémon, a lot of them were both bland and lacked development (Boldore, Unfezant, Palpitoad), some of them had decent personalities but lacked development (Snivy and Leavanny), some of them had decent development but lacked personality (Pignite), Krookodile and Pikachu had a good balance of both and as far Oshawott and Scraggy, they both had great personalities but their development was mostly towards the beginning and then the writers turned Oshawott into comic relief and kind of forgot about Scraggy.
Sure, you're welcome and thank you for asking, my day is good! Hope you have a nice day as well ^_^
Do you have a full team with full of you all-time favourite Pokemon?
BTW, English isn't my native language. If you see a problem, let me know.
I'm doing well. Thanks for sincere regards. I try to share my opinions properly and I try to start threads with new approachs. I like you reading your posts. I hope you like my posts.
I still use them from time to time. Tried out all kind of variants both as pure dragunity, assault mode, with dragon rulers(tempest fits them well), leywaten rider, mixed with blackwings(failed horribly) etc. What they need is some s summonable monsters to speed up the deck, they rely way too much on one normal summon. Summon dux or legionare, opponent drops veiler/max c all the time basically killing your combo having to wait for next turn and hope they wont have another counter.
Well remember archfiends (type based on chess) ? They were one of oldest archetypes out there, and after so many years they are getting some great new support. So maybe dragunity got some new cards in future too.
I see, well than i suppose you will be glad to hear how archetype like atlantean and mermails got quite a lot of support in last few packs along with some cards in general boosting up water theme. Torrential reborn seems like especially interesting card to me reviving all destroyed water monsters destroyed in that turn, and on top of that burning your opponent(though that's already old news). Fish also got massive support in recent years.

About wind type well harpies got some new support, and there are also phantom mecha beasts manipulating tokens and taking it to their advantage.
Hi since we don't have many sharing things to talk about pokemon i was thinking why not for change talk about something else perhaps?
Im sure there are things in which we both could have more fun in discussing them in relaxing, dispensable manner.

I know you like Yugioh and im definitely still fan of card game, manga and anime(though not so religious about it as i used to be). So i was wandering what are your thoughts about current meta and direction inn which game has been taken?

All i see nowadays is mostly dragon rulers and spellbooks wank fest mixed with evilswarm which struggles to stay competitive with them. Many fans argue how diversity and creativity when building decks has been gone with most like sheep netdecking other people decks with current state of game becoming incredibly fast. To the point that games usually don't last for more than 2/3 turns. Something many find has caused yugioh game to derail losing its loyal followers.

Im pretty neutral on whole thing, but i was wandering if you have opinion about this?
It was really forced, and I found Jack's reaction to it to be the only funny part. Ahh, cool! I might give that show a try, but my list of shows that I really want to watch has been increasing. I've been meaning to watch all the Digimon sagas, and I just finished watching all the episodes of Digimon Tamers last month. Beelzemon is definitely my favorite character from all the sagas I've watched so far having a very cool character! He's just really awesome and makes everything more interesting with his presence alone, although I'd have liked if he had more of an impact in the Locomon movie.
Cool, and thank you! Watching it again, I really looked at it in a bit of a different light, and its flaws don't really bother me that much anymore. What are you watching now?
Hey Hidden Mew, I hope you're feeling well. I was wondering, what episode of 5D's have you reached now?
