  • the Nationwide series has one more race up in Canada land, but sadly yes, no more road courses for the Cup series.
he faded in the closing laps and finished 3rd...
hopefully next year he can win with Ford power.
well he does have 2 wins in the Nationwide series (the series one step below Cup) so he can win, its just a matter of doing it in Cup. today is the Nationwide race which he starts on the pole for.
well we dont have podiums in NASCAR, but i know what you mean. id like to see him get a win.
eh, kinda. its a loophole none-the-less.

road course this weekend, lets see if Ambrose can pull some moves and get a win.
no, they may only own one team, but they can "partner" with other teams, so while he doesnt own them, he still gets to make some calls on what goes on.

btw, Ambrose said today that he wants to stay in NASCAR as he feels he has unfinished business.
a NASCAR team is only allowed 4 cars to their team. it prevents NASCAR being too governed by one team (like say if oe team got so big they owned half the cars in a race). its kinda complicated, but team owners have found ways around it.
well i guess its gonna be up to him in the end. id like to see him stay but if he wants to go back to Oz, then at least theyve started airing V8s in America again. Marcos did say in an interview that he really preferred driving Ford, so i think going to that other team i mentioned (which is actually a team owned and run by Richard Petty) would be a good bet as they are a Ford team.
    we should burn them all.

but really, id like Ambrose to stay in NASCAR for a bit. he has a lot of potential and if he can get a ride in the #9 car, thats a team that as of right now is running very strong, so it would be great for him.
we inturrupt this regularly scheduled non-sense for this breaking news story:

Ambrose, JTG Daugherty to part ways after 2010
Driver unsure of next move, doesn't rule out return to Australia
yes, and last Thursday it was overturned due to a strong lobbying campaign from Luxembourg.
