I know it isn't usually such an easy catch, but I caught Rayquaza on my first try with an Ultra Ball. Otherwise I don't really remember any, though I recall Moltres usually being an easy catch.
Re: Games/Anime Resemblances

Oh yeah, that totally skipped my mind. Moderators can edit the title, right? If so, I would be glad if you or another moderator would edit it to Games, Anime and Manga Resemblances.
OT:
Yeah, I don't really remember how Giovanni thought of Silver...
So, throughout the many years that Pokémon has been exposed to the public, we have seen various official games, both main games and spin-off's, as well as a whole lot of anime seasons, and a great deal of chapters in the Pokémon manga. But even though the games and the anime are following...
Arceus. It's one of the Pokémon I hate the most, and I'm gonna keep on hating it forever.
It's design is not really fit for a god Pokémon in my opinion, it doesn't seem like it has had that much thought behind it, which I would've thought a god Pokémon would be given.
Another thing is that...
This, pretty much. Both of the Pokémon are cool enough for me, both designs are fine enough for me, so I don't think I could prefer one over the other with these two.
To be honest, ever since people got to see Trubbish and Garbodor, it hasn't been anything but rant about how much they sucked...
I guess I'd start off as a trainer, and with the journey prepare to become a Pokémon professor. Travelling around the regions, gathering data on the various Pokémon, while still training to beat the gyms, and eventually compete in the Pokémon league, that would be the life style I wanted...
Out of the 646 officially revealed Pokémon, are there any of them that you've had a certain opinion on, which has appeared changed later on?
Like a lot of people always complain about new designs, new concepts and such, and I'm no exception, but as time has passed, a lot of Pokémon that I...
I'm not sure if this has been made before, but here goes.
If you were living in the Pokémon world, and could become literally everything (it has to be some kind of occupation, of course) that has been shown in the games, anime, manga, whatever else official part of the Pokémon frachise we have...
That's again one of the reasons why I don't like it when anime doesn't follow the manga/games. It's easy to get confused in all this, and to be honest, I think there have been a few trainers in the anime who wasn't 10 years old.
As for Cilan's age, I don't think it has been specified yet, but...
Yeah, agreeing with winstein, though it's getting more and more unclear, from generation to generation. The youngest gym leaders would be Tate and Liza if I remember correctly, and I think they would be around 10, which is the minimum age for becoming a trainer, as it was stated above.
Also, I...
Well, that's the issue when you bring the animé and the games together with each other. They don't follow the same story, and even if Giovanni was good in the games, he isn't in the anime at all. This isn't really anything that could be discussed unless if it was Giovanni specific to the games...
This one is kinda hard. All in all I would have to say Gen V, but that seems pretty bias, due to it being the only generation I haven't played.
Generation III may have been a bit of a disappointment to me, since it was the first generation I wasn't completely in love with, yet I was a bit unfair...
Well one of my choices is obviously Pidgey, though I'm not sure it would be my first choice. Probably something along the lines of Spinarak. I find Dragonite to be pretty cute too, unlike a few people on another forum >_>
Nah, I'm a closet Pokémon fan, so nobody really knows how far my enthusiasm in the franchise actually goes. It used to be so popular earlier on, and I used to be the one who knew the most about it, (which I'm still kinda aknowledged for by the few friends, though not to the degree where I'm cool...
