  • Huh... that's strange. :/

Wow, really? That's so awesome! Yup, I am from Browntown~ There are two others but... they don't log on anymore. :/ Congrates on finally escaping hell your gradutation! I'm a clarinet player, but march flute. My favorites have been "Chaos Thoery", "The Secret" and "The Raven". The Raven was/is the best Lopez has done, I was amazed by their performance, as well as pressured. "I've got a secret?" O-Oh wait...

Well, I do, my mom and brother, but they only focused on certain parts/sections/people rather than the whole marching band. But your comment really means alot, thank you so much. ^^ I'd really love to chat with you more, not only on marching shows, but other things as well. ^^

Also, I'm sorry to say, but I've never really seen San Benito perform... :<
    /it's okay to be late!

Spanish, Italian, the romance languages in general are nice to listen to since the flow is very smooth and natural, but as you said, guttural languages make you perk up and pay closer attention. That alone makes them a bit more attention-drawing.

Most of my music library is in another language, or is instrumental. I doubt I'll ever know what they're saying, (save for a very, very few words I've remembered), but it's nice to listen to.

Cyrillic is actually very similar to English, but with a few extra sounds, (like the double L in Spanish). However, the thing that messes one up is that many of the letters are the same, but mean different things. In English, P is P. In Russian, P is R.

Xhosa is /very/ amusing to listen to!
Hey I'm going to LA tomorrow, so I won't be on until the afternoon and I already made this late, so if Scourge doesn't show up, is this alright?

Hey Kat, I noticed that on your Wishlist, you had Golett listed.
Are you interested in a Golurk? I have one for you if you want it.
I like the fact our VMs keep getting longer and longer... Do they have a limit on BMG? I know they used to on PE2K. (Not that I'm complaining about the length!)

German is unique, because it's a more guttural language. So is Russian, which is a reason I enjoy it. If you think a bit, English is fairly guttural too - with the constant clash of consonants. It's harsh and forceful.

You're learning Finnish too? Oh my. You know, if you can speak 8 languages, you can become an international interpreter and make a ridiculous amount of money.

I quite like Korean music, though, the same could be said for pretty much any type of music. It's not always about what it's saying, but how it's said, you know?

Oh the Cyrillic alphabet. It was a pain to learn, since so many of the letters look similar to the English alphabet, but make the oddest sounds. For example, the p is actually an r and the b is a v and the n is an h. ):

So I listened to the Xhosa tongue twister! Wow. It was very impressive. I didn't even catch it the first time! D:
It irks me too. I don't really see how it is an "ugly" language, just because it's spoken harshly? I enjoy the way the syllables are pronounced. :x

Polish music is very fluid, as the lyrics often mesh together and flow with ease. It's similar to Finnish music, and I think that's why I enjoy it.

Arabic is very intimidating and is one of the most difficult languages to learn! But I really envy the Arabic calligraphy and writing. I think the script is just stunning.

Oh? I've never heard of Xhosa.
German is such a beautiful language! I know someone who can speak it fluently, and it's interesting to hear him go on and on. Polish though, has some of my favorite music. Have you ever heard Polish rock? I quite like the genre. :)

It took time deciding what languages to take in college, if any at all. I was very tempted to take Arabic or Mandarin, but I declined in favor of Russian. In fact, I was shocked by how many varied languages were offered!
Or of course, taking classes in college. My first two years of college, I took Russian. It was brilliant and even encouraged me to go buy study materials out of class. :)
Honestly, French might have been a better option. The Spanish teacher was completely ridiculous and even skipped class most of the second year. We were taught by one of our classmates whose dad played soccer in the Honduras. That was highly entertaining because the things we learned were certainly not on the curriculum, but we didn't really "learn" anything useful.
We only had Spanish, French and ASL. I ended up taking two years of Spanish back then, but I've forgotten most everything, save for a few phrases. Didn't know Xali spoke it, though.

Anyway, thank you again for your help. I really appreciate it.
Oh my, thank you, Kat. :)

I went back and fixed the Spanish you mentioned. I really, really appreciate that, since I hadn't had a class since early high school (which was a while ago!). I went around looking for someone who spoke some in the URPG, but well, no one knew how to help. ):
    Happy Belated Birthday!

When you're free, I need that Story section description!
Lol, yeah I remember how it was when I was your age. Don't worry though. Once you hit 21, drinking becomes lame cause you can do it legally :p
