Doesn't matter to me any case. I just hope for a new Digimon anime. But, I don't expect one at least until Adventure Tri. had finished.
BTW, how much do you think about the possibility of another new Digimon anime? Currently the PS Vita Digimon game are doing fine with new titles coming quite frequently. I am quite optimistic for a possible new one in 2018 or 2019.

Yeah, new digimons for each new anime series of new stories. So what is the problem? But of course on the opposite, new story can also be produce using only old digimons.
Unless, the problem is the anime producer and directors are so closed-minded, thinking new anime must feature new digimon, without new digimon a new anime cannot be produce at all.

No, I don't want sequels, I want a complete new story with new innovative ideas that had never done before. The Digimon game series in PS Vita currently are doing fine with new titles. If needed, design new digimons as well. I do not understand why the anime cannot do the same like the games, produce a new series title with complete new stories.

BTW, sometimes I really hope the Digimon anime could move onto some other new idea. I don't understand the attractiveness of the very first Adventure, so although Adventure Tri. was really a nice add (I really like the graphics and actions. I will have to see the final before I judge the story), I think it live off too much from nostalgia.

I specifically prefer Digimon Savers, because the story flow very logically smooth, everything were well constructed, including Masaru's hand-to-hand combat with digimons. Through, I just hope the size of digimons need a bit minimize. I heard from some internet discussion saying digimons in Savers was themed off Kaiju, so they needs to be BIG, but still, even now I still think they were TOO BIG.

Fun fact: I can't name my Pokemon trainer "Strata" anymore due to wordfilters.

I don't have any specific one I wanted to see a X-Evolution form being added, I'm fine with the current amount of X-Digimon. Because they were designed specifically for a story, they do not add much to the overall franchise. Through, many of the X-Digimon are much cooler than the original, so I really don't mind Bandai to design more of them.

Heck, even I'm surprised at how long I've had this account registered here. Back when I was still new here I registered the name, made maybe 1 or 2 posts, then forgot about it for a few years.

Yes, actually! I've had the name "Stratadrake" for 10 years. I'm not entirely sure at what point I coined the name "Stratelier" but I've been using the newer name more often when I register on new sites. (I make sure to use only one name per site.)

I personally don't judge is a digimon "good" or "bad" simply based on look, but mainly on the official description. But if official description is ambiguous didn't stated explicitly about its personality, I am open to it being either ally or antagonist.

What I meant by minor, is that it is not popular among fans and within the franchise itself. Some not-so-hardcore Digimon fans doesn't even know its existence. Though, its existence is in fact legendary of the legendary, even hidden within the topmost digimons, so lack of appearance is understandable.

My favourite Digimon is a very minor family that had very limited appearance, yet it is supposed to be one of the "protagonist class".
That is -- the Dorumon family, including Alphamon.

Speaking of Alphamon, finally it made an appearance on screen since X-Evolution. But sadly it seems like it is on the antagonist side.

Nah, of course I know you are not going to copy it. That is the basic moral of anyone who do any sort of creative work.

Mine is a trainer adventure fic within the Digital World. The Porygon in my fic is the main antagonist. It is an investigator used to research the Digital World, where its malfunctioning was the triggering of the beginning of my fic.

So it has nothing to do with PMD series. Just do what you like.

I did said about the Porygon being anatomically closer to Digimon rather than Pokemon. I had already utilized this idea in my crossover fic. Don't copy paste it. But if it is comic, then it wouldn't be any problem.
