The knowledge is exactly why I wanted to join smogon. I just don't have the patience to construct a legal team though, since you prefer to play on wifi. Battle simulators do look boring though.

UU has a lot of pokemon I like. OU has Infernape and...that's it. I was interested in little cup at some point. I would join smogon but it seems like you get banned if you sneeze in the wrong direction.

Sorry I took so long to reply. I was at work, I have a part time job at the library.

I never really had a team. Because for my team to be viable I'd have to have some sweepers, a wall, wall breaker, support pokemon etc. So everything is just scrambled and I have no idea where to begin. I'm kind of afraid to start competitive battling to be honest.

Battle simulators let you get down to the good stuff (the battling) without all the training and whatnot. You can select moves, items, and even distribute EV's with it. You play straight from your computer and battle other people online.

I've never did comp battling before. I really wanted to get into it. But I usually give up at the breeding part. That's the most time consuming, tedious and difficult area of it. I hatched a Roselia with decent IV's the other day. I then became frustrated with EV training and gave up on it. I've tried EV training before and that's where I usually stop. It gets tiring having to write it all down and remember it.

Maybe I should try simulators because I dislike cheating. I thought about Pokesav but it didn't feel right.
