Well, with spoofs, it's really on a case-to-case basis, imo. If they're done well, and they're funny (and, most of the time, tasteful), then, yes, they are 'good'. But if they're really crappy, and just insulting to Pokémon fans, then I say they're a 'bad spoof'.

I think I'll try this, it sure looks like a lot of fun, and a great idea, too! But, I've heard that you won't want to use sprites from FR/LG with sprites R/S/E, since there are some slight differences between those sprites that can make the whole picture look off. Just a tip =^).

It depends on who Ash was going with...if it was Misty or May, I'd imagine either of them would be fine with it, but if he was going with, say, Paul, Ash wouldn't, since his date would probably threaten to throw Pikachu out a window or something.
