I enjoyed the game all right!
I believe it was pretty balanced. The scum definitely got unlucky with the information combo from the Sensor and Masonizer, though. :P
I think they were handled sensibly. It did make me think carefully about when to invest and when to purchase an action!
It...
But it means literally nothing, because there is no way to get a Mafia result on anybody, barring an equally pointless Insanifier or checking AE the Miller.
You know what else means literally nothing? This entire second paragraph. It is devoid of all useful material, and instead wastes typing...
I figured you used the Masonizer on nowo as soon as I saw it was purchased. I must be a Psychic type, like Claydol, one of the two Pokémon featured on my latest artwork in my art thread. Y’all should check it out, whoever hasn’t already!
...Oh yeah, and all that’s very good to know, Darth.
AE being Town doesn’t require any estimation, because there is only one Mafiosi left. No scumbud factor involved.
Timpani are cool! I must note, however, that timpani is plural and timpano is the singular. At least according to Professor Google. :P
Wispy is one of the few people who hasn’t done something overtly Townie as far as I can tell, so as I said last Day phase, they’re one of my suspects along with Max, and now to a slightly lesser extent, Flop.
It can’t possibly be noworry. We eliminated that idea with the Officer Snake lynch. And the fact still remains that the last scum is Godfather, so the possibility remains that Max is Mafia, whether or not he wanted checked.
Btw, I evolved a Tyrogue into Hitmonlee on Ultra Sun today! I thought...
I haven’t done any protecting, nor do I have any useful results from last night. But I did have some fun on the Pokémon 2018 International Challenge today. My 2018 Legends Yveltal really knows how to pull its weight, and has some good synergy going on with my Dhelmise!
...where was I? Oh yeah...
No, the Sensor told me nothing about the indep one way or the other. But according to Darth’s apparent info, as he says, the Indep having joined the wagon is the only possibility.
Since I’m trusting Darth’s info that nowo is Town, which leaves Snake as scum according to my Sensor, I predict that the inactive Officer is non-Godfather scum, which leaves AE’s cop check on Max a completely null element for PoE. I actually have a theory that Max is Godfather and baited that...
I think Willow is confusing Friendly Neighbor, which tells your target you’re Town, with the unrelated Neighbor, which is passive and iirc not actually available in the shop (because the activated version would be Neighborizer).
Also, more thoughts on the game in just a sec
I’m willing to trust in Darth’s info on this.
Unvote: Flop
Vote: Officer Snake
What’s to respond to? I already said my initial idea of examining the Eresh wagon was kind of a bust.
Okay, so according to what I know, there’s one Mafioso out of:
jdthebud, Max1996, Wispy Willow, Doctor Floptopus, DarthWolf, and AussieEevee
and one between Officer Snake and noworry. And the indep could be any of these players.
The Eresh wagon was shorter than I remember, so I got less info...
GUYS!
I bought and used Sensor last night! 1 Mafioso joined the wagon! Which means the other one was off the wagon. Sooo gimme a minute to pull up the list of players and offer my reads.
I considered that possibility, but I believe that I’ve picked up a hint that someone else dropped that leads me to think the startup extraordinaire is somebody else entirely.
And believe me, I’ll try to read back before the night, though irl stuff has been crazy for me lately.
My view on Cheff is simply that the case for him outbetting what the startup entrepreneurs could without realizing it seems logical.
...and also, I haven’t read back yet. ^^;
Alrighty, I’m here. I am willing to trust AE’s Cop check on Max for now, and I find the case on Cheff solid. So:

I think it’ll also be worth taking a look at the wagon on Eresh from Day 1 and seeing who on that looks shifty, too.
Honestly, Max’s flippy-floppy vote changing felt a bit off to me, too, even for how he normally Mafias. Especially since he switched from a supposed scum read to an inactive player, and then back after others called him out on the idea.
