Alolan forms aren't confirmed yet, at least.
And not to defend Dexit because I still don't like it, but... the decision wasn't due to space, it was due to development time. Which makes sense and is reasonable, but a better solution at this stage would have been extending development to give...
Have a like for making me giggle. XD
But ugh yeah, I don't think there's a good solution one way or another at this point. Hopefully this situation is something that they will consider fixing for future games after all of the backlash. I mean, I'm sure that they came to this decision for a good...
It's a solution, sure, but it won't be one when the time inevitably comes that Bank shuts down and the avenue to bring pokemon to the newer games closes.
Well, it was stated that they are putting some more priority on Project Gear for exactly that first reason. They want their developers to get more experience from that. Probably why Town is such a bigger project than their previous side games.
It's not the only thing they develop, though... they just don't have another series in continuous development, and I don't think there's really anything wrong with that?
For one, they probably just haven't gotten an idea yet that would be worth turning into a second series. You can't really...
Pokemon just happens to be their flagship? They've always developed other games ever since the beginning but Pokemon kinda supports the whole company, including the other games they produce, so of course that's their main focus. And the point of Project Gear isn't even to come up with a new...
You also have to remember that Town's scale is a lot smaller than SwSh, taking place in just one town, so they are able to focus more on details. It's also more open to creative design.
They're not suffering from having both projects running at once, one just appears better due to its smaller...
Simultaneous development means that they can keep pokemon in constant production while giving their developers a chance to recharge their creative juices. Think of Project Gear as a rec room where some staff go to have fun while they take a break so they don't get burnt out working on Pokémon...
I gotta say that it's not because Project Gear is a program in the company that lets developers pitch ideas and develop them. It's supported by the profit made by Pokémon and is by no means the company's #1 priority.
I think people are feeling unnecessarily threatened by Project Gear and they...
If it's a known issue, they're likely to fix it for a newer console, so I don't think it would be an issue if and when a Switch Mini gets released.
And nah, they don't announce hardware until they're ready to release it. Official statement.
Saaaaaaaame- the only games I have for my 3DS and GBC are Pokemon. The only time I didn't get a system just for Pokemon was the DS- I got that one to play Nintendogs. XD But it wound up being my most useful system because it could play the Advance Pokemon games that I missed getting a GBA for...
Might even get this with Home, since they've claimed that pokemon will have an active role there but we've seen no details to really support this as of yet.
We know that it only lasts for three turns compared to Mega Evolution lasting the whole battle.
I don't think there would be any point customizing stat boosts when all of your moves switch to generic ones and it only lasts three turns? There is no benefit there.
It's really not a combo of both... sure, Max Moves may be somewhat similar to Z-Moves and if you wanna accept that in place of them, sure, but Dynamax barely resembles Mega Evolution in any way- it doesn't last all battle, it doesn't change a pokemon's type or ability, and the only stat it...
Competitive doesn't necessarily appeal to old fans (I'm an old fan and competitive definitely ain't my thing) and cutting pokemon and mechanics from play isn't really appealing to that either.
There's no argument about inviting new audiences to the games, but cutting features has absolutely...
