I really think that this could be big, I mean, Ash and Anabel are around the same age it seems. And she does seem to be helping Ash train for his rematch with her alot. I think this ship may have a chance of developing some what....

Of course since Anabel will probably never show up again after Ash beats her, there's not much hope for it to develop.

I don't know,this reminds me a lot of the Brock/Lucy thing a couple of months back.It's like the viewer was getting slapped in the face with a Ash/Anabel stick throughout the episode.(same way we were getting slapped with the Brock/Lucy stick in the Battle Tube ep)

<.< That's not the point. With the influx of people trying to leap at 'shippings names (Ash/Anabel and Brock/Lucy being very recent examples), just trying to narrow it down to one that everyone will accept is tough. Just tacting on a 'ship to a preexisting 'ship name won't solve the current name problem, and would only be taken as the "lesser term" because it's shared. A 'ship that stands alone doesn't get confused with another.

Also, this problem wouldn't be happening if someone had done a quick ctrl+F on that bloody list, under the circumstances that the original creator knew it existed. But even aside from that, it should be common sense to go about and see if the name's not already taken. Search engines are your friend.
