So the tracks after the first AG opening/ending are Hoenn background music? Cool. The inclusion of the contest theme just gives me more reason to buy it.

Track 8 is Tatakai, which is the Elite Four's battle theme in the anime. Track 9 is Shouri, the Gym Leader victory theme in the anime.

And track 10, Tokiwa City, is the anime version of Petalburg City's theme.

Although, for some reason, they never used that song in the dub. O.O


I'm not sure why they never used it. After downloading it, and listening to it, I thought it was a great song......

Actually Lisa, I do recall them using it at least once. However, I can't remember which episode. It was most likely a Battle Frontier episode.

Well, I certainly don't remember hearing it. But if you *do* remember what episode it is, please tell me.

Because seriously, I've seen all of Battle Frontier, and I do not remember it. Yes, they played the Contest Theme in the dub (finally) with the Battle Frontier season.


However, I don't remember them ever playing the Petalburg City theme. And I know I would've noticed something like that (I'm not saying that you're lying Geoff or that I don't trust you, I just can't remember when they played that song, lol)......

Japanesese name of track 10 is not Tokiwa City (which actually is Viridian City). The real name is Touka City, and it really should be Anime version of Petalburg Theme, as Lisa mentioned.
