Banned for not learning your facts: that was only the first half of the first season. The rest of the first season and the first half of the second season were dubbed with good-to-okay quality. They left the second half of the second season completely undubbed (likely to save money) and only added subtitles. The third season was dubbed from start to finish.

It's not really about the language. The first half of Digimon Adventure was dubbed in Finnish by a dubbing company called Agapio Racing Team, which is infamous for how utterly bad their dubbing quality was. In fact, messing up DA's dub was the thing that drew them out of business, if I recall correctly.

Here, this should give you an idea about the quality of their work, even if you don't understand Finnish.
