"Absconding Affair?" Personally I'd translate the second part of the title as 'The Case of the Missing Audino!!' but hey, I'm no expert here.

So, Cilan will be doing some sleuthing, then. I like! Then again, the cynic in me is thinking that Cilan seems to to excel at almost everything and is there anything the guy can't do?

Any upcoming Dento-centric episode (particularly if it has "Sommelier" in the title) automatically fills me with hope of seeing Cabernet again...

Here it doesn't seem too likely from the summary alone, but for the time being nobody objects to me dreaming, do they?

I think it has to do with the movie. There's a lot of ground to cover in Raimon, so the writers need an arc. This episode was gonna appear on June 30 and the movie comes out between episodes 40 and 41.

I think the writers knowing they had the movie coming up and wouldn't have time to wrap the Raimon arc by the time the movie came up, that they decided to wait until the movie had come and gone to address it.

I wouldn't mind seeing Cilan catch that Audino, seeing as Brock had a Happiny>Chansey in DP. And also, it's good to see Cilan get an episode based on him, since there hasn't been one since the Cabernet one (EP678), seeing as the fishing episode was banned (EP685).
