She quickly adjusts the envelope in her hands, hoping that someone didn't see what was in it. An eagle eye took notice. "...What's in the envelope?"

"Envelope?" "The one in your hand."

"Nothing's in there." Before she could do anything else, someone snatched it and opened it.

"Dear loyal subjects,
This is your lovely host speaking. Feel free to enjoy our special dinners that we've prepared as a reward for your hard mission. You've earned it. love, management."

"Din-ner?" Thoughts of luscious steaks, hamburgers and whatever delicious foods filled everyone's minds.

"She's holding out on us!" "No, THEY'RE holding out on us! We haven't eaten anything delicious in weeks and they're dining on hot chocolety milk! To the gallows!"

By the way, I wasn't joking about Phoenicks.

1. His role claim is not exactly difficult to fake as scum.

2. Everyone keeps pointing at at certain someone for pushing a certain counterwagon, but remember who started that counterwagon? Phoenicks. Why is this detail never mentioned?

3. In our private talks he repeatedly suggested he wanted to lynch Psycho Pacifist, but when it came down to actually doing it he was scarcely present and privately confided he'd rather lynch elsewhere.

4. What exactly are these awesome townish things he must have done to elicit everyone's trust?

I think the reason why he got a lot of town trust is because he got the claim list from based KJ due to KJ's trust in him.

If Phoenicks was scum, then the doctor (and if there's a backup cop) would've been lynched by now and that would be bad for town, imo.

That's not exactly how that went down. But you will notice all the loose ends that could have corroborated that version of events have, erm... conveniently expired.

@Phoenicks would you like to field this one, or shall I? It's actually a pretty funny story, don't you think? I thought so, at least.

Why? As best I can tell, he's been the one directing most of the power roles - they're hardly a threat to him if he's scum.

I feel that in the event of doctor (and maybe backup cop) getting NK'd, the morale of townies would drop (or at least mine) and things might look grim to town, but then again, iirc, some townies manage to turn the tables even though the doctor and investigative roles were gone, so as long as we put our heads together and think critically, we might get somewhere.

Yatta! Three in a row~ Ouch at the Town loss but Restless Spirit Master Mew <3.

I was told by the Doctor that the target they protected wasn't ordered by Phoenicks or anyone, but according to them the target was Master Mew.... Why would the Mafia choose to kill somebody they lovered with?? Unless they chose somebody else? @Master Mew; Could you tell us when you were lovered and copy paste conversations you've had with Phoenicks? I have my own with him and I'd like to see if his opinions match what he told you.

Well I can't speak for everyone, of course, but I do know that if I were scum and obtained a list of claims, and found myself in a trusted position where I could reasonably attempt to direct power roles, I wouldn't kill them - it would waste my influence over them and demonstrate to the town that the mafia knew more than it ought.

@HumanDawn yes I can share some selections from my conversations with Phoenicks, but honestly? I'd rather you did first. If the point is to compare notes and see if they match up, it makes more sense for you to share something of yours first since your affiliation is still in question while mine is not.

I brought up that Hachidori was on Phoenicks's list of players to lynch before anyone else and the Doctor told me that Phoenicks never brought it up to them, also that they don't have the list of claims. Now I want to know these "loose ends" you were talking about, it's really weird that the Doctor that supposedly successfully protected me N2(yes i was the target i was just told by them a while ago) doesn't have all the claims.

Also, I would like to hear the definition of what makes a 'good lynch' because I certainly do not want to be a 'good lynch' for no reason. Just to be clear, I am not going to accept 'you voted a few minutes before the update' as a logical reason because I already said several times that I made a mistake with time calculations.

Now I want to know these "loose ends" you were talking about, it's really weird that the Doctor that supposedly successfully protected me N2(yes i was the target i was just told by them a while ago) doesn't have all the claims.

To make a long story short: Koopa Jr didn't share the claims with Phoenicks, Koopa Jr shared the claims with Zenax (Independent), and Zenax shared the claims with Phoenicks after Phoenicks approached him posing as Scum. Then Koopa Jr was subbed out, Phoenicks told the sub that it was Koopa who trusted him and shared the claims, and Zenax turned up dead before he could say otherwise. It's all been quite a thing to watch unfold.

You are a good lynch in my eyes because I feel like you have the highest chance of flipping Mafia out of everyone else. Even if you didn't know, you still voted Mijzelffan and helped make a tie closer potentially saving Denial.

Well reading aaalllll of that it's easy to figure that Luminosity is the Silencer. Regarding the identity of the Bodyguard, I think it's either Midorikawa or Kyriaki. I don't get the impression Phoenicks is Mafia from those chats, honestly I thought of faking Mafia to Zenax too to see what he had to say but wow... That explains why Phoenicks believed that Zenax was an Independent so much. He did tell me he didn't think Master Mew was Mafia because he didn't think he'd get namekilled. I also have an additional reason of my own to believe that Phoenicks isn't Mafia, but I don't think he'll be on the chopping block any time soon so I have no reason to out it.

Oh and you trying to convince him that you were an Independent must have been the shit-eating contest he mentioned to me...

I feel like I have more to say or react to but I'm gonna need my time to take it all in. You may call it post respiratory and post mindblown complications.

You and your 'alliance' I suppose. Incidentally, didn't you say that you were also in contact with the doctor? Probably won't take long for mafia to piece together who's who - maybe you should be more careful with who you put on your 'Most Likely Town' list. Indirect outing could cost a game...

Yes I still voted Mijz. Yes I was the last person on the bandwagon. Yes I know that exact position is FoS'd and lynched 90% of the time. I vote for who I want to vote for if I think it's worth the post and unless I feel convinced or said person is absolutely proven clear by the host or the cop (who is unfortunately dead), nobody's clear. I've seen more than enough mafia scumhunters who bus as early as day 1.

I've only talked to two players privately on that list. It's not like the Doctor can't protect themselves :M. Or maybe they really can't. Who knows.

Meaning, I'm pretty sure there will be bussing people among seemingly clear people. You can never be too careful.

Denial already had enough votes that my vote was not necessary. Even if I voted for Denial, it would have been an empty vote that contributes to nothing.
