I have a feeling the writers have been toying with this idea, though, precisely because they've kept Gio and Ash out of the same space for the most part. Personally, if I believe Diamondshipping, Eldershipping, and (what was delia & spencer hale again?) -- then Delia has really gotten around. Ahem.

Haleshipping! (Which I think is another ship that needs more fannish attention...)

Blackjack first turned me on to the idea of having Diamondshipping and Eldershipping coexisting peacefully. Diamond has potential for roots in the past; Elder can certainly be in the works now; and the angst can flow happily, as she can have connections to both that haven't been broken definitely one way or the other.

So yay Diamondshipping too.

I'd agree with Blackjack about doing Diamond and Eldershipping at the same time at once, except that Eldershipping is just so... saccharine and cuddly. I like angst... mmm, angst.
